Better than the leading brands
I have tried different kinds of casual & hiking sandals that are built similarly if you catch my drift but are way more expensive. And before trying these I was an avid Teva collector. But Teva’s are expensive & I’m trying to stay away from certain brands due to their ethics lately. These are wayyy more comfortable and ergonomic. When I put them on it literally felt like I was walking on a pillow. They are so soft but also seem very well made; the soles are hearty and textured so you don’t slip around. I am normally between an 8 & 8.5 and the 8.5 fit perfectly, leaving room for me to wear socks with them if I want to as well. The arch support is phenomenal. The color is also unique & a bit more soft, versatile & wearable than Tevas too. I hope they hold up well; if so, these will be my new favorite sandals !

Perfect for walking home after a pedicure - All the toes are free , yet the straps can be adjusted for a perfect fit and the soles are so supportive and comfortable. I forgot I was wearing shoes at all. Plus the color is so cute! Great for light hiking and water activities too.

Full five stars for comfort, stability, grip, and not worrying about them flying off your feet!I bought these to replace a pair of well-loved Chaco flip flops. After my physical therapist informed me I have an "ankle flick," I determined them to be a major perpetrator to the problem (despite them being so comfortable) because I compulsively walk differently, like I'm trying to keep them on my feet. I know this isn't necessary, but attempts to change the way I walk in them resulted in my legs being far too stiff. Better to just move on!So yeah, ankle-strapped sandals were a natural choice! I read lots of reviews and picked these based on users' testimonies that they don't chafe. I'm happy to say this is true - if you get the three adjustment straps fitted correctly. Not too tight, not too loose. It sounds easier than it is.Despite my intention to not wear them on hikes, I opted for them yesterday knowing they were advertised for it. I'm tired of sweating in my double lined socks and hiking boots in the dead of summer. It's pushing 100° out here! To my (unwarranted) surprise, they truly did resist slipping! They don't look like they'd have much grip, but the advertising is spot on.They took a beating going out the door, when the wind spiked the screen door right back at me like an over-caffeinated volleyball attacker - it looks like a dog bit the front of the shoe. Then I accidentally peed on one (the same one that the screen door hit, RIP right shoe buddy). They came home covered in dirt, but cleaned up nicely!The only con I can think of is that a rock fell on my foot, something I normally don't need to worry about. But we WERE rock hounding and the terrain was unstable, so it's a fault of my shoe choice for the outing and not of the shoe at all!

Durable, comfortable, no chafing
I was never a fan of this style of shoe but I needed something comfortable and open for a hike in El Salvador during rainy season. I'm not a hiker so I can't speak on how these compare to other hiking sandals, but these were great. There was 0 chafing even after tightening the straps. They were super snug while also flexible so my foot was able to arch around rocks. I received a lot of compliments on these because they were not only functional but also super cute. The sole is more foam-like, while the straps are a thicker fabric material lined with strong velcro. The shoes seem durable and wash quite easily. I would recommend these to those with great balance and ankle control.

I'm obsessed. I've been wanting Tevas but I didn't want to pay the price. I bought men's sandals and my son loved them so I tried them. Cutest color (purple), so comfy, easy on/off, no blisters even from day one, arch support, water friendly, cleans easily, good traction. I'm a 7 so I got size 7 and they are perfect.

These changed. I purchased a pair of these a few years ago, followed my old order link to grab a new pair, and they are different. The colors are nice, and they are decent quality, with a thick, comfy sole that seems non slip with good traction, but the padding around the straps is gone. This is evident in pictures, I just didn’t realize it. Without the padding under the straps the coarse material rubs directly on the foot/heel area/ankle, and they will not be comfortable for all day wear. My daughter planned on wearing these on vacation with lots of walking, so unfortunately they won’t work for us. She liked everything else about them.

I cannot say enough good things about these! I lost my last pair of popular name braned sandals on a vacation and needed a new pair. I found these for almost 1/2 of the price than the other brand. I love the way they fit and feel, so comfortable! These will be my go to brand in the future and I am even telling my friends and family about them, I want other colors now too! I usually am a size 7 in womens shoes but I looked at the sizing chart for these and went with the 7.5 size, it was a perfect fit. I even stood on a flat ruler placed on the floor to measure my foot length. I have small hands and feet and I was hoping that I wouldnt have as much overlap as shown in some of the review pictures that would cause them to look stupid. Straps and fit are both perfect! The only drawback I have found so far is that the black soles mark up my hardwood floors but those marks seem easily removable. I have worn them out in my backyard while gardening so far as I have not had them long, but I am at the beach frequiently and around water which is the real reason i wanted these. Looking forward to see how well they hold up when going there. If you get them you will not be disappointed, they seem to be well made and are very comfy!
