Too Small and NOT Free Returns to Germany
WAY too small. Plus one shoe was smaller than the other. I’m always a size 10 (41 European size, which is what the box says.) But in these, my toes were squished against the end. And the top of the foot was so tight it was painful. I’m guessing because they’re leather, there would be some break-in. But I don’t think that much stretch would have been possible. It’s a bummer because they seem like very high quality materials and the flat sole was exactly what I was looking for. I would have loved to keep them…To make matters worse, the return process is a NIGHTMARE. This item states it’s from the official Camper store and offers Free Returns. However, apparently the item shipped from Amazon Germany. So it had to come through customs on the way here and was stuck there for about a month (despite them claiming shipping would only take a week.) Then when I finally got them and they were too small the return options weren’t working. I’ve been on multiple chats and phone calls with customer service because they want me to pay for international shipping back to Germany. That costs as much as the shoes!! What happened to “Free Returns”?? Turns out Amazon Germany is considered a third party seller. Only they can send me a prepaid label for the advertised “Free Shipping.” And apparently Amazon USA customer service has no way to contact them or offer their own prepaid label. I also can’t find a way to contact this seller to ask directly for a prepaid label. And no one at Amazon seems to know how to fix this process. They finally offered to reimburse me for the international shipping, once the shoes make it back to Germany. Hopefully they don’t get stuck in customs for a month on the way back - meaning I would have waited months to get my over $200 back… Buyer beware.
