Run small
These run small. I purposely ordered a size up from my daughter’s current shoe size (9 usually) and I could barely squeeze her foot into these. I ordered the size 10 and they are the same size physically as her old size 7 ballet slippers. Looking at the sizing chart now, I just measured the shoe and it is EXACTLY the described length on the outside, but the inside is smaller. I wish I had checked it before instead of assuming an entire size up would be okay.I do like that the sole of the shoe is split so the shoes can be folded up in a dance bag. They are really nicely flexible, but don’t have any stretch to the fabric. The soles also have some nice padding on the bottom that feel like decent quality.I am not a big fan of the canvas material. It feels a bit rough, like it might chafe, though they do feel like they are well made and won’t fall apart. The elastic straps seem to be decent too. They are not adjustable, though, so that could be a problem for fitting.Overall, they seem to be a decent value. I just wish I had ordered two or three sizes up. I am hoping these will fit my younger daughter who is just starting dance class this year. She can have these new ones instead of wearing the size 7 hand-me-downs!

Size up 2 sizes
These are good quality but run very small. I ordered a size up for my 4 year old. They are way too small. She can’t even get them on her feet at all. She was so excited to get them, and so disappointed when they didn’t fit. I can’t say how they hold up because they haven’t been worn.
