Buying, Searching and locating quality Competitive Dance Gear is an on going game of hide and seek. We found these shoes a few years ago and they have been our go to buy through 3 years of competitive dance practices and competitions. Great value for the money. Our dancer loves these shoes and asks for them every season. An extremely functional shoe that allows you to dance with clear, concise precision for your routine.
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Bought for my daughter as these are more comfortable than other comparable brands. Size up though, she wears a women’s size 10 and XXL fits perfectly!
My dancer likes this style even more than the Pirouette ii. These shoes are softer and a little thinner but still durable (as far as half soles go). Sizing with half shoes makes zero sense and these are no exception- my daughter wears a women’s 6 1/2 in street shoes and a large in these.
Absolutely beautiful very comfortable and very well fitted can’t complain.
They are decent for the low price that they are. They are not the best quality for turns but fairly good. I have also had some issues with the straps falling down or off my foot while dancing.
Pros:- Shoe feels high quality- Works well for turns and dancing in general- Elastic moves well with skin when you point or flex your foot (doesn't feel caught on skin or feel like you need to adjust it)Cons:- Oddly small? I got an X-Large (the largest size), but it still fits a bit small on me compared to other brands I've tried. I'm a woman's size 11 or men's size 12.5, for reference. It's not uncomfortable enough to where I'm going to go through the hassle to return it, but if it were just slightly larger, then it would be absolutely perfect. If you're shoe size is any larger than mine, I would not recommend this shoe.
The main reason for this purchase was that it was cheaper then in studio. It works just like the ones in the studio. True to size and has been very durable, we just lost a few. The nude color matches the studio as well!
