Honestly, Super Impressed
I work as a princess for children’s parties, and needed a new pair of your basic Mary Jane style (with a low heel) to go with my costumes. I have owned a pair of the Theatricals silver sparkly Mary Janes for a few years now and they get the job done, but since you get a $9 coupon when adding these to your cart and that makes the price comparable to the theatricals, I decided to give these a shot.As I said- super impressed. I wear an 8.5 street shoe and ordered a 9. There’s a tiny gap between my heel and the back of the shoe, but it fits so well everywhere else I doubt it will be an issue- if it is, one of those rubber heel strips will solve the issue just fine. These shoes do run narrow, which personally is what I need, but if you struggle with the width of normal shoes or need a wide fit you’ll probably need to go with the Bloch or Theatricals instead. The sole insert is super cushy and soft, and there’s even inside arch support! I haven’t worn them for a shift yet, just opened them up and tried them on, so I can’t speak to the durability, but everything seems very well made- the heel is sturdy, the buckle isn’t cheap, etc.- so I’m not worried at all. Plus, if at the end of the summer I do for some reason need a new pair, $25 fits the bill. I’m going to order a pair in tan right now so I’m covered for every character!TLDR; excellent basic shoe for the price, particularly if you need an elegant rounded toe, shorter heel, and for a narrower foot. I’d order a half size up from your street shoe.

Go up a half size and they're great
I normally wear an 8.5 so I ordered a 9 as suggested.Fresh out of the box I thought they looked way too small,now I'm in love with these shoes.They are very snug,like a glove (a good thing when dancing).Mine have been through several dance classes with no problems,no 'breaking in' or band-aids needed.These shoes are not meant for street wear as the heels will wear down VERY quickly.Unlike the Leo's character shoes I had before,these are lined with fabric on the inside,making these far more comfortable.Great price for a classic,basic,low heel (non-leather) character shoe.Good job Capezio.

Narrow in the front, perfect for dance.
Needed low healed shoes for dance performance on stage so I can twist and turn easily. These shoes fit the bill for that. Size runs true but toe area very narrow. They are very slippery on my home floor tile. Reading the reviews, some say true to size, some say order 1/2 size and others a whole size up. At first I bought size 7.5 which is my usual street shoes size. My toes were very uncomfortably squished, although lengthwise it's perfect. So then I ordered size 8M and 8W. Size 8 the heel area is a bit loose, 8M (regular) is still a bit squishy in the toe area. It may be okay once you break it in, but I went to the 8W since I needed it for the dance the next day. I was surprised those shoes were so comfortable that I didn't even noticed them all night. They were not slippery when walking outside and I was able to do my turns on the stage with no problem. Though they're not the most beautiful, they will be my favorite go to shoes for dance from now on. Hopefully they will last for a long while.Tips:1. Buy wide, 1/2 size up. Same size wide may work too.2. Don't make straps too tight if you want them to last.

THATS a 7.5 wide?!?
Was so excited to find these shoes, especially when they offered my size and a wide version. I love ordering a wider shoe than having to widen it myself. But when they came, they were SOOOO small! Looked at my other shoes to see if I’m just crazy and I don’t think I am. So much smaller and narrow. I’m keeping them to see if I can widen them myself but be warned. Maybe order a half size up!

Poor Quality Shoes
I’m really disappointed in the quality of these shoes. My daughter wore them for one show and the entire strap broke off right before she was supposed to perform. I bought these specifically because the brand is reputable but these should last for more than one show.
