It’s hard to go by size since every foot differs. Although have a granddaughter that has a narrow foot - size one up/ other granddaughter has a wide foot - did size up & she stated still too tight. Giving a 5 due to good quality. If feet sweat will turn feet a slight black from the leather & washes right off. Will buy again
My daughter uses these for circus class and usually wears a little kids' size 10.5. The 13's in these just barely fit!
My order came with a missing shoe & I missed the deadline for return so it was an expensive waste of money. The cheaper brand came together & was great for my daughter's gymnastics class. Highly disappointed, they run small too
I second many of the previous reviews of this product. My first grade daughter needed these shoes for her tumbling class. She wears a size 10 in street shoes. We had luckily read the reviews and ordered both a size 12 and a size 13. We went with the size 13 - she could not really even squeeze her foot into the size 12. Because of the sizing issue, I gave 4 stars instead of 5.The quality of the shoe itself is great, so I can highly recommend the shoe itself. The leather is soft, the stitching is good, and my daughter says they are comfortable. They seem well made - we see no reason she won't be able to wear them for the rest of the school year to her once-a-week tumbling class.
I ordered size 12 ( my son wears size 12 shoes), and they were way too small. He could not even put them on, so I had to exchange for bigger size. Unfortunately, there was no option to exchange, so I had to pay shipping for the return. I got a size 1. This time the shoe fits, but the length is a little too big, and the shoe is very narrow. I suppose it would work fine for a girl with very skinny feet, but my son has wider feet, and this does not work so well. Otherwise, the shoes look nice.
Great shoes, just be careful of sizing. My daughter JUST went into a size 1 regular shoe. I ordered 1 and she couldn't get it on. A 2 fits her but probably won't last long. Lovely quality shoes though and quick delivery
We purchased these for our 5 year old who attends a gymnastics pre-K program 5 days a week for 6 hours a day. They wear the shoes in class as well as during their 90 minutes gym period. After 2 weeks of wear the paint was already peeling from the front. At 5 weeks the were completely worn down to the exposed leather and looking awful. The sizing was also VERY small. These fit, however my daughter wears an 11-12 shoe/boot/skate and these size 2's would be too small in another few months. Over all bummed that we couldn't make these work.
