These shoes have been great for my daughter, but I did have to reorder a size and a half up so she didn't have her toes crunched in them. Not a big deal as long as you know ahead of time and read the reviews! I got them on a sale and they were good for the price as there is no where around my town to get jazz shoes.
I purchased these jazz shoes in both Camel and Black for my 6yo daughter’s competition. Capezio makes the perfect jazz shoe that lasts. I trust these shoes over others on the market and they are worth the price paid. These shoes do run small so for comfort I recommend purchasing a half size or full size from your regular shoes to prevent the snug fit. I’ve had to do this each time my daughter is now on her 3rd pair as she is still growing.
Seems like a great shoe as it is flexible, fits like a sock and we bought on sale for $15(!!). I was pretty excited to see such a good dance brand for that price. I also like the nude color for these shoes. Writing this review though to say that my almost-6-year-old who is a size 11 in street shoes is a size 12 in these nude jazz shoes. She measures at about 7.25 in. Hope this helps someone order!
Daughter has narrow small feet and these wear next size up and still quite snug. I would size up at least half maybe a whole size. The quality is good. Just ran tight.
DO NOT listen to other reviews claiming these shoes run too small. They are Jazz shoes not sneakers and are meant to be snug and fit almost like a sock would. My sister wears a size 2 street shoe and fits in Stelles size 13. I compared Stelles size chart to Capizios and decided to get her a size 1.5. She says they are comfy and has just an inch of room left for her to grow into. Realistically she'd be a size 1 but I was worried from other reviews and got her half a size up just in case which wasn't necessary.
All you have to do is put on tights and the sizing is actually accurate and perfect fit! Granted I did have to assist putting on first time, but after danced in, I have no concerns and it’s just practicing! I suggest measuring the outside of the street/casual shoe vs inside sole when reviewing the size chart.
I've ordered these jazz shoes in tan, size 10 1/2 little kid twice and have received black, size 13 little kid both times. I know from past experience that the product is excellent, however something is wrong with shipping the correct color and size.
