Great theatrical shoes

These are exactly what I was hoping for. The fit was a little snug at first but they are leather and do stretch and are now just right. They are supportive and look great on stage.

Not for wide feet, sole is too narrow.

This shoes are really good quality, BUT they are not really for the wide feet. They made the top bigger, but the sole of the shoe is still narrow and toes go off the sole when you walkor dance. It is painful and the shoes are not worth the pain. Unfortunately, most of the manufactures are doing the same. I found only two who understand that it is the sole which needs to be wider, not only the top. The manufacturer's are from England - Hotter and American - David Tate, the lsdt one is doing it only for some models.

As usual, Capezio makes an excellent , sturdy, quality shoe. You just need to know that the leather is NOT the tan represented in the photo. It is darker and has gray tones. I returned the shoes.

Capezio Theatrical Shoe

I really like these shoes. I bought my regular street size and they fit like a glove. I also have slight bunions and the medium width was just right. These are excellent for ballroom dancing. The color is as shown...taupe. Although these shoes are expensive the quality and workmanship are excellent and the leather is top notch. If you can swing the price, they are worth purchasing.

comfortable for salsa

I ordered the 10W, they fit well. I also ordered gold b/c I wasn't going to pay full price... but the gold is actually quite beautiful. I feel very steady in these heels, and typically, I wear flats except for a 1.5in heel for salsa 3 times a week. I wore them for my class pictures so that I could be taller than my students =)

Good character shoe

This is a very good character shoe. It is clearly high quality, real leather and attractive. The one 2 things to be aware of: 1- I would order a half size down from your street shoe. I normally wear a 10W, and really could have done fine with a 9.5W, maybe even 9W. 2- I ordered tan, hoping it would look like a nude shoe, but it’s a little dark and gray. It reminds me of a gray, tan, clay color. It is a nice color, but won’t quite do it, if you’re looking for a nude look.
