Great Dance Shoe!
Let's just get the specifics out of the way before I gush about this shoe. I wear an 8 in street shoe. I thought these might run a bit small so ordered an 8.5. They fit okay. I could have worn them alright. However, I also felt I could have gone with the half size smaller. Plus, as other reviews mentioned, the strap was extra long it seemed over the top of my foot and I could have used another couple holes in the strap to snug it up. What really made me send them back however, was the bottom of both soles were stained and the shoe had obviously been worn before. There were even wear marks on the straps! So, for the price, I figured this would NOT do. I sent them back and reordered the size 8. That arrived and yes, the shoes were a bit snugger fit (okay because they weren't uncomfortable). The straps had the right amount of holes to fit down against the top of my foot and the straps weren't excessively long. So, if you wear an 8 in street shoes, start with that size. I also have a normal width foot so I didn't bother to get a wide size. The 8 M was perfect! The shoe looks amazing and since I always wear high heels out and about, I loved this heel height for dancing. I took these shoes brand new straight from the box and put them on for a 3 day dance workshop, 4 hrs. of classes every day and dancing all night. Yes, my feet ached a bit but can't really blame the shoe. I came away so thankful for a comfortable shoe and despite being stepped on, etc. there were not even any serious scuff marks! I might also add, I received several compliments on my amazing shoes! So glad I found these...

GREAT SHOES
The wide width shoes that I bought fit perfectly. The heel is the right height for standing for hours of rehearsals and performances. The leather is a great buy for the price.

Finally a wide dance shoe
I have tried ordering multiple dance shoes online and they were all painfully narrow for my wider feet. Because these are leather and offer wide sizes, I was able to order my regular shoe size in wide width and they fit perfectly. They are a little snug when you first put them on. But they are more comfortable every time I dance in them. I also love how they look. Very classy and minimal.

Very comfortable shoe
I think this is a great dance shoe for someone, like myself, who dances all styles of dance, quite regularly, on several types of flooring and for two to three hours at a time. It is not too high, or low, has a nice look and is very comfy and I think it will become even more comfortable as I wear it. I did make a mistake in the sizing part of my order though: I read all the prior reviews about the sizing (I am a street size 7 to 7.5 wide) and I noticed many said, the shoe ran small, so to be on the safe side, I ordered a size 8. I am able to wear the shoe however, I have to put extra padding in to make sure it stays snug on my feet. I think if I order it again, which I probably will, I'll order a 7.5 next time. That extra half made it just a bit too big for me.

Not just for dancers!
I've had several pairs of these shoes over the years and believe me they're not just for dancers. If you're looking for comfort and a little dressy style these are a sure thing/ I wear them everywhere. The heels are just high enough to be dressy but still good with a pair of jeans. Because they're dance shoes, the heels are chunky and stable so you can look stylish without worrying about breaking an ankle. The leather lets your feet breathe and after a few wears they shape to your feet perfectly. Great shoes! My only suggestion is to take them to the shoemaker and have a hard rubber lift put on the heel because they're leather and made with the assumption that you'll add taps. If you aren't going to do that, get the rubber ones to protect the heels.

Cocktail server heels- pros/cons
I ordered these and a different brand as shoes for work, I’m a cocktail server required to wear black Mary Jane heels 2 inch and up. Many wear these for this purpose but all say the same, they fit a little small, the toe box is a tad narrow and after several hours they make you sore. I can’t vouch for how they are in theater or dancing but they’re not comfortable to try walking on marble for 6-8+ hours for- by the end it won’t be fun. I wear toe separators/pads while working in heels so I sized up half a size and they still didn’t feel roomy enough. My sister has these and sized up a whole size, something to keep in mind. I’m addition you’d need to have treads put on them if you’re using them for a purpose like myself, or you’ll slip- it’s a solid smooth bottom with no ridges as it is a dance shoe to my knowledge (maybe for tap? Idk) overall for my purpose I went for a more comfortable heel from Clark’s for work, as many I work with also do. But if you want this look, they are made with great construction and looked pristine- just not what I want in a work shoe (comfort is key!)
