I absolutely love them! Ideal choice for those, who can’t wear heels. Salsa, bachata, kizomba- perfect for everything!
I needed white dance sneakers for an upcoming event. I usually wear Sansha Skazz shoes (good quality but better pricing than Capezio and Bloch), and after much trial and error know my shoe size there, but they didn't have a shoe I wanted in white, so these Capezios were my choice.I know each brand is different, and that was my biggest worry - having time to find the right size and make sure they were comfortable before my all-day line dance event next month. I compiled sizing information from all the reviews for this Capezio sneaker. I wear an 8.5 street shoe, 9 athletic shoe, and most recommendations from others with similar sizing were for 9.5 or 10. I was leaning towards the 9.5, especially since my foot is narrow, and at the time I ordered the 10 was out of stock, so my choice was made, and fingers crossed! The 9.5 fit me PERFECTLY. I wear a thin sock for dance - I would say if you wear heavier socks and/or your feet are wider, the 10 would be your better choice.I wore them for a few hours just walking around the house after receiving them to make sure they didn't rub anywhere, and today I had my first full Soul Line Dance class in them, and they were SO comfortable. The pivot point is slightly off from my other shoes so that took a moment's getting used to, but I could spin, glide and turn with ease.
Super-lightweight, slippery on the bottom ( I like that), great for Zumba. Good arch support. Not too narrow, like some dance-shoes can be. Great price for them here on Amazon. The only reason I don't give five stars for these shoes is because they wear out quickly. But I love them. I've tried so many other shoes for Zumba, and these are the best for me. They do run small. Order up 1/2 - 1 size from your normal tennis shoe size. I wear and 8 in other shoes, ordered these in a 9, and have plenty of room for comfort.
I got these for Zumba. They’re very comfortable and support my feet well. I recommend checking the size chart before buying. After reading the reviews that they run small, I measured my foot. It measured 10”, which puts me at size 9.5. I wear size 8 and wasn’t sure about this number but went ahead and ordered the recommended 9.5 and it’s perfect.
Disappointed. These run small, buy 1/2 size bigger or your toes will be hammered. The toe box is narrow and low, my toes are squeezed and I can't use them properly to exert control. The tongue and the back of the ankle are padded so much as if they try to keep you warm in addition to giving support. Why????? This is a dance shoe, I need to feel my toes and use them and I do not need to keep warm and I do not want bulk around my ankle and arch. Money wasted. The Bloch sneaker is much better.
Quality construction. Fits well, breathes, and is comfortable. Looks great and is durable for outdoor dancing, and provides good support.
I have been trying many brands of shoes for dance fitness / Zumba for several years. Although I have been sort happy with the shoes I already have (Bloch, Reebok, Nene's, etc), I really wanted to continue my search until I find a better fit for me. I recently bought this pair and I feel my search is over! My foot is narrow overall with very long toes (especially my middle toes are the longest, monkey toes!); I have very high and strong arch. I also wanted shoes with dance-friendly soles like Bloch and Nene's. My favorite Blochs do not have the ankle support, and my Nene's have too wide toe box. This Capezio Fierce Dance sneakers solved these. They are not wide in toe box and heel. They have good ankle support without being too bulky. They are very light. As most dance shoes companies, the sizing is small, so you need to order at least 1.5 sizes larger than your street shoes. My street shoe / sandal size is 7, my running shoe size is 8.5-9. My bloch dance sneakers are size 8.5, so I ordered Capezio 8.5 as well, and they are perfect.
