Carhartt Men's Work Boots: The Boots I've Been Looking For
I've been looking for a good, somewhat lightweight, breathable pair of work boots for some time now. These Carhartt boots are just what I've been looking for. They're lighter than expected. There's a good amount of give and flex to them. I love that they're breathable on top and on the sided, keeping my feet from overheating even after a full day of wear. They are both slip-resistant and steel-toed; a prerequisite for the work I do, AND miracle of miracles, they have to be the most comfortable pair of work boots I've ever owned.I know this company by their jeans, which are high quality and just feel fantastic. Great boot for the price
I have to wear steel toe for work and am on my feet most of the day so I decided to give these a try. They are lightweight, breathable, comfortable and affordable. I actually ordered additional work boot insoles but didn't end up using them because the ones that come in these boots were better. However, the first pair I received had a pinch in the rubber on the toe of the right boot and the tounge of the left boot had some sort of material accidentally sewn into it so it krinkled with every step. Obviously manufacturing defects. See photos and videos I included. Sent those back and the second pair was good. Makes me question the overall QC but I've been wearing these for about a month now and have been happy with them. Also, I spray them off every few days and if the water hits the laces my feet get wet. Only other complaint is getting them on and off. Other boots I've had have the hooks for the top two wraps of the laces. These have holes so you have to loosen and tighten them every time. Would be nice if they had the hooks to make it easier and faster to lace up. Pretty sure I'll still order them again when these wear out.

Pros:Lightweight,.Medium sized laces make for easy tying and tucking (not too thin/thick).Color scheme is subtle and even all throughout.Comfortable inside, no "breaking-in" period for wear.Note: Strong all throughout - heavy door closed behind me by mistake and it caught the back of my boot. If not for the fact that it was wedged in, I wouldn't have felt it.Cons:None thus far.Note: The water resistance category can't be rated at the moment as the shoes have not been worn in the rain or walked through puddles.

They arrived a day early, and not a moment too soon for I had just finally completely worn out my last pair i had purchased.... I came home from work mid shift to change into these. I had expected them to be a good pair of boots and i as of now which this being day 2 I have yet to be let down.... they at first walked a bit funny with a slight rub on top of foot which i gotta say was bothersome but within just hours I had broken them in and they are quite comfortable.... I walked several miles in these boots yesterday on the first day i had them and only wanted to get back into them when the day was over.... by the way they looked when i first opened the box i thought there was no way id get my foot in this thing.... idk i was wrong though, they went on easily

Comfortable, breathable, sturdy work boots
These are by far my favorite boots ever for construction work. I didn't want to spend as much as I did for these but they've been a great investment so far and have held very nicely over the past 8 months. It's not easy to find vegan, free of animal products work shoes that are very sturdy, can handle abuse and are absolutely comfortable. These are also the most breathable shoes I've ever had which has been a huge blessing during hot California summers. The toebox is a great bonus as well, protecting my toes without the heaviness of steel toes.

Nice boot, but does run large. I usually wear 10, so originally ordered these in 10.. way too big. Returned and went for 9.5, still too big but workable.I have put these boots through quite a bit in just over 6 months of use, and they still look and feel great. I am a satellite tech so on my feet climbing ladders all day and going through attics and crawlspaces, and they have been reliable and mostly comfortable.I would consider buying again but will try a 9 next time... hopefully it wont be too small.
