There perfect
I just received these boots today delivered on time and good condition.I put them on right away to kind of brake them in . I took about a half mile walk and my feet weren’t sore a bit .well built boot walked in water and my feet were dry.Don’t be afraid to purchase these boots I love them! Update I’ve been wearing these boots for the last two winters and no problems.I wear them everyday in the winter until it gets below Zero.really cold days I wear a pair of wool socks and my feet never get cold ice fishing.I bought another pair in case they quit making them.So lite and comfortable.update I did by another pair.in 2022.I haven’t wore my 2 nd pair yet it’s February 11th 2025 and I’m still wearing my first pair I ordered.I wear them everyday in the winter.

Comfortable, warm.
I wear boots almost pretty much all day, every day for work and liesure. These are very comfortable out of the box. To me they seem to be a nice hybrid of a classic work boot and a tactical boot like bates or 5.11 brand. They are definitely a winter boot. A tad bulkier than my timberland hiking boots, but also extremely warm. It was recently -50 with windchill and i was warm and toasty in these. They are comfortable enough out of the box that ive been hiking in them withno issues twice so far and i wouldnt even consider them broken in yet.

Warm and decent quality
I bought these just for those extra cold days when a pair of insulated boots are necessary. They are warm and comfy. Made in China and not the highest build quality for an everyday boot, but ok for just a cold day here and there.

Great but short lived
The side of the boots leather tore almost immediately, and after 4 months the glue between the leather sides and rubber sole / tread started to pull away. I called Carhartt and was basically told to go pound sand and that there is no warranty. Very disappointing! While they worked, they were terrific. Comfortable and dry. Until the glue started to let go and the leather tore.
