Pretty darn good

So far so good, I’m a roofing technician, I wish the boots had a bit more grip on the soles. But I do like how comfy they are. I wear them all day and so far so good, they are broken in fairly quickly. I have wide feet and got a size 9 wide and it’s true to size.

Pretty good boots

It’s very worth the money, comfy and lasted me 2.5 years in construction, until last month when it started falling apart. Definitely recommend tho just maybe go half a size down as I wear 11.5, had to get 11

Out with the old, in with the new

Spent 3 or 4 days comparing different steel toe boots and finally decided the best I was going to find for my money were the same boots I've been wearing - these Carhartts. This is the only boot that's lasted me more than 2 years. These 2 pairs of boots are the exact same in the picture. The old pair lasted about 2.5 years which is a lot more than I've gotten out of any other brands in 10+ years on the job.I'm a heavy equipment technician and do a lot of Navy/Coast Guard/fishing boat work. Those top decks are super rough and they eat up boots (mostly why the steel toe is exposed on the old boots.) These boots are comfy and not near as expensive as lesser brands. Best bang for your buck

Happy so far

I've only had them less than a week, but here's my early impression of these boots. If I find any durability issues I'll edit in the future.First thing I will say is that they are a little stiff out of the box, but I still found them to be quite comfortable, more comfortable than most when first trying them on. I went for a half hour walk the first day just to test them out and break them in a little before I had to wear them to work the next day. Walk went great, felt fine afterwards. Wore them 8 hours a day for the next 3 days and had no issues regarding soreness or anything like that. I ordered a 9.5w and found that the length was good but the width was a little wide for me but not so wide that I couldn't make it up in the laces. The only negatives I have regarding these boots is that they make my feet sweat. I've been doing construction for 35 years and sweaty feet has never been an issue before. The second negative, and this is very specific. If you do a lot of stick welding or any spark producing work, the design and the stitching along the top of the toe will catch a lot of sparks, causing the stitches to wear out.

Great boot...comfortable!

As of writing this I have been wearing these for one month. I do a lot of walking in a factory environment. I get a new pair of boots every year and always dread the first week of painful rubbing from some part and that did not happen with these! They were really comfortable right out of the box. I would definitely buy these again if they proof to hold up over time. Also, I purchased one size smaller than my sneakers and they fit well.

Too NARROW

I really wanted to love these. But the wide boots are still very narrow. And I dont have wide feet at all. I still try to wear them because I paid for them. Im very disappointed with this work boot. They are durable, maybe because I cant wear them every day I work. I love the style and weight. But the over all comfort, their is none. One thing I do like about them is the arch. The arch is perfect for my high arches..Do I recommend, only if you have a very narrow foot, then get the wide..

Runs Small and Narrow

Still in the process of finding the best size for me but I HIGHLY suggest ordering the WIDE version even if you have narrow feet. They are VERY slim fitting. I would also size up at least 1/2 a size right from the start. I normally wear men’s boots & need to size down. They feel well made and are on the heavy/rugged side (steel toe). The color in photo appears as a light brown/khaki color but they’re a standard darker brown (non-issue for me but might be a preference for others.) The size issue is the only reason for 3 stars at this time, will update review after some time in the boots. Advertised as waterproof and slip resistant, great style.
