Waterproof! And Comfortable.
I absolutly love these boots. I had a hard time finding anything that said waterproof to be actually "waterproof". Always end up just water "resistant." These are in fact very waterproof!. warm, and comfortable, easy to get on and off. my arches have fallen, and i have other issues with my feet and I practically live in these. I am Extremely rough on shoes....and these boots keep up. I have had them for 2 years now, same pair. Still going strong. I ended up with a cut in the toe of one from getting shoved under the seat of my truck, and still no water gets in. Very well made. If you do manage to get water inside, and i have a couple of times. They do dry quite quickly once you take them off. Slip resistant maybe not 100%, mostly on flat slippery surfaces. deffinalty better than most. A little on the heavy side yes, but still easy to walk in. and yeah a little clunky. I do manage to trip over more than I would with regular shoes on. you get used to it. But they are 100% worth every penny.

They are so comfortable! Stood all day in my greenhouse, at least 12 hours and my feet where dry and not sore! They look beautiful and so far my feet have not gotten wet. I wore these for 2 weeks straight when I first got them because of the weather, they are extremely convenient to put on, stylish and they kept my feet dry and padded. Bought them again in Brown but 1/2 a size larger (Brown is tighter) but black pair is the same size that I wear everyday and fits perfect. Definitely buying these again and I have told EVERYONE how Wonderful they are!!

Thought I made a mistake but I'm so glad I got passes break in
I ordered my usual size the first time and they were too tight. Got a half size bigger and they felt great until the end of my first shift with them. I had horrible blisters on my heels. I was so worried I had just wasted 200 dollars. So for the next two weeks I had to put mole skin on my heels and toes to keep from further blistering and it was so uncomfortable with the blisters they had already given me. Then about two weeks later I was in a hurry going to work and forgot the mole skin. By the end of the night I was amazed they didn't rub or hurt. It's been about two months since I got them and although they are work boots I wear them everywhere. They are a little on the heavy side but nothing that bothers me. I even wore them through the summer. I'm not sure about water proof. I plan to treat them here shortly as we head into fall. I don't usually write reviews but I was going on my 4th pair of sketchers muck type boot in 2 years and was so frustrated. They are 80 a pair and although comfortable they never lasted long. These are well made and I have no doubt won't blow out and tear like what I was wearing before. I'm so glad I got through the break in period and now couldn't be happier with my carhart work boots

exactly what I was looking for
I got these boots to help against snake bites. with that being said it has the right material to help against snakes just not a long as one would prefer. The boots only come up mid calf on me. the only issue I had with these boots when I got them was they felt too small is certain areas. the top of my foot where my arch is was tight and hurting. after about 2 weeks of wearing the boots everyday at work that went away. so now they fit really good once they were broken into. I searched everywhere for black boots with the right material for snakes and finally found these after days of searching. I 100% recommend these to someone who is wanting simple black boots that are durable and have great grip on them.

ok work boot but buy a size up!
I read a few reviews for these boots before I bought them and many said to order a whole size larger than your normal size. I am an 8 1/2 and I ordered half a size up (9) thinking that would be enough. They fit ok with regular socks but I was hoping to wear thick wool socks in these while working on the farm in cold weather. Thick socks definitely won't fit. Thankfully though, these boots are actually pretty warm. They were VERY snug at first but broke in fairly quickly and fit pretty good now. They slide on and off easier than I thought they would. Have accidentally soaked them a few times already and no wet feet yet.UPDATE: Less than a year later the boots are no longer waterproof. I've tried waterproofing spray but it did not work. So bummed out. I work on a farm and my feet have been soaking wet.
