Pros: I do carpet cleaning and flood restoration so I've been looking for great quality work boots, and then i came across these. They just came in today. First thing I noticed is they fit perfectly! The nano toe is very strong and extremely light. The leather feels and looks great and is extremely durable. The water resistance and extreme slip resistance is going to make life so much easier when doing flood repair.Lacing them all the way up is a breeze. Instead of holes to put the laces through, there are hooks. Just secure the laces in and tighten them. When you need to take the boots off, the top laces just snap right off. Saves time and energy.Cons:Word of warning the insoles are very thin, luckily I had an extra pair of padded soles.On the inside just above the ankle, there is stitching that chafed my leg when walking around a while. I would suggest wearing thicker socks.

Comfortable & Light!
I got these for working around the house, cutting trees, tearing out and working on a deck, etc. I tried them on and the fit and comfort was much better than I expected. They are the most comfortable boots I have ever put on my feet. They are very light, too. They seem to be constructed very well. Time will tell, but at just under $68 I paid for my size in the black (what a deal!) I think they will be just what I need for tackling the big jobs around the house. If I find the boots to be subpar after using them I will update my review accordingly, but after putting them on and wearing them a bit I have absolutely no complaints yet.

What is that smell?
Never had a problem with foot odor until now. These shoes do not breath worth a damn. Very warm, very waterproof and very comfortable. Had to buy some odor powder. I have owned Caterpillar shoes for years, but this model sticks, literally! I'll continue to support Caterpillar, but not this model. RK

Received these today.. Put them on immediately, I have had them on for 5hrs now and they are as comfortable as my 3yr old pair. Out of the box they look and feel tough just what I have come to expect from Cat footwear. The eyelets and speed hooks are metal and securely attached. Very important if like me you lace your boots tight. The composite toe is comfortable no digging in. No noticeable slippage and no heel rub...The only negative I can find and I have found this across all brands that I have bought and looked at and thought of buying is the insoles are thin, I always replace them or put a pair on top of them. A small price to pay given the long wearing exterior of the boot. A suggestion to Cat, make a deal with one of the aftermarket insole manufacturers and put their insoles in your boots.
