What a bargain!
Haven't worn them enough to know about long term durability, but so far so good! Very comfortable.....plenty of cushion in the midsole and insole. They are lightweight and not clunky in overall size, yet quite sturdy. Seem to be highly waterproof. Medium D width is just right.....wide enough in the toe, but not too wide in the heel. Length is spot on for what I consider a size 9 to be.About the only issue I have is the top two lace hooks being "captive".....that is to say they are curled on both ends to prevent the laces from slipping out when not laced up. The issue becomes when you WANT to unlace the top two hooks to facilitate taking off the boots.....and then have to "push in" the laces back into the small notch for re-lacing each time. Fundamentally not a good concept unless they fit you large and can slip them off easily keeping the laces in all the way up. A relatively minor nit, though......as long as they hold up fairly well.For the price I paid for the black color ($55!)......it's an incredible value and hard to complain.

Comfortable & Durable
I ordered these work boots for for my boyfriend, who is a mechanic. Like most work boots, these run a little large (he normally wears a size 7.5 in shoes, we ordered these boots in a size 7 and they fit well). He tells me they are very comfortable, and he likes that they are lighter than steel-toe work boots. The boots are high quality, look great, and seem very durable.

The boot is very good
I've had it for over a year and I use it all week at the factory. It wears very well, comfortable, however, it is a little heavy and the top finishes on the toe of the boot peel off easily. Another problem, as I'm going to work on a motorcycle, on the left foot of the gear, it rips easily because the gear pedal catches exactly in the part that starts the protection of the nozzle. So she's not as strong as she should be!

The most comfortable I have ever had
I bought my first pair of these from a different retailer while I was traveling. I put them on the same day I bought them, and wore them all day long! My feet are fussy. But these boots are top notch in comfort. I bought them the end of September. So I don't have a wear report. I use them for every day use, cutting fire wood, cleaning the chicken coop, and hunting. They have kept my feet dry and warm even in a hard rain while hunting. I found Amazon had them, and now I have an pair in case Caterpillar changes the boot. These boots are awesome!

Caterpiller Boots
Very disappointed in quality of boot. Although the fit was perfect and did not have a break-in period, the soles started to wear with a hole separation after only 6 weeks of wear. These were a gift to an auto technician and did not get heavy abuse with daily wear.

Better out there for the price
So these are good boots , comfortable , water proof for sure. My issue is the quality vs the price tag. I really should have just ate the difference and went with my normal boot (timberland boondock )They suck to lace , the metal eyelets dig into ur ankle , After a few months of use, tread on sole has worn down quite a bit (used on smooth concrete floors in a heavy equipment mechanic shop) there is no breathability to these boots , and my feet absolutely sweat like craaaazy when I wear them . Honestly if your going to spend this kinda money on boots anyways , just up ur price range 30-40$ and get something better .
