I am not diabetic and don’t have wide feet. However, I had bunion surgery and needed a wide comfortable shoe to wear for several months following my surgery. These are by no means attractive, but are comfortable for my situation. Beware that the Velcro will scratch soft, thin fabric. Otherwise, no problems at all

I love how comfortable these shoes are. I have a wide foot and the shoes are super comfortable and they have plenty of room. The rubber sole provides me with great support. I love the ease of putting on and taking off the shoe. I do like the velcro is a great option for the older people. I wish it did have another way of securing the shoe because it is a little loose on me, other than that they are perfect. I feel that the shoe is perfect for someone who is always on the move and active. The product is of high quality, the price reflects this.
The recommended size was too large so I need to return them.
Got these originally for just easy comfortable wearing shoes, and ended up gifting them to my friends mom who has diabetes. She said they were so comfortable and it's the thinnest her feet have looked in years! She did wish they were non-slip so she could wear them to work, but overall they were great. Very comfortable, wide fitting, and are great for just household wear or going out to the store!
I got these for my 71-year-old mom who has diabetes. She wore them for the first time today for about 4 hours while we went out to lunch and an appointment. Though she does not presently have swollen feet, she really appreciated the extra space in the toe area. She has been having some tingling and unusual discomfort in her feet lately. She said the sole of the shoe was super soft and comfortable and she really likes them. Having velcro on both sides of the shoe made it easy for her to put them on which is a very smart design.
