Fantastic shoes, my husband loves them

Stylish, but too tight for comfort
I had high hopes for these boots because I really liked the way they looked online, but unfortunately, the fit isn’t quite right for me. I normally wear a size 9, but, I ordered a 9.5. Even with that adjustment, the boots feel tight on the sides and across the top of my foot. To be clear, I don’t typically wear a wide size, so I wasn’t expecting this issue. It’s disappointing, because visually they’re very sharp and stylish — exactly the kind of boot that transitions well from casual to dress occasions.The materials and construction seem solid, and I wouldn’t call them cheaply made. The sole feels durable, and the stitching looks neat. However, comfort is where they fall short. After wearing them for a few hours, the tightness becomes noticeable, and they don’t have much give. For someone with a slightly narrower foot, these might be a great fit, but if your feet are average-to-wide like mine, be cautious.I’m giving three stars because they deliver on style and seem durable, but footwear really has to feel good in addition to looking good. For me, these miss the mark on comfort. I’ll keep them for short wear occasions, but they won’t be my go-to pair.

Review is for Dress Casual Chukka Boot Mid Top Sneakers Moc-Toe. I've worn these for several days now and they are one of the most comfortable shoes that I own. Weighing in at 15 oz each for size 11, They are light for an ankle boot with this thick of a sole. The soles are a soft rubbery like material that provides a good degree of cushion and grip on pavement.The uppers are made of "vegan leather", a term I wasn't familiar with. A quick internet search indicates that vegan leather is another term for imitation leather using no animal products. A plus in my eyes. It looks every bit like real leather, even up close. However, it feels artificial to the touch - very soft.Over all these are very good looking and comfortable boots. I'm hoping this "vegan leather" wears like the real thing. Time will tell on that regard. The finish is sort of a matte finish, nothing like a dress leather boot. Not a complaint, just an observation.I believe these boots run a little large in size. I normally wear size 11, but I think 10.5 from this brand would have fit a little better. I think I'll try a 10.5 black pair.
