Good tread
The boots are well-made. They’ve got good tread. I’m a size 11 1/2 so I went up to a 12 because I have wide feet. The ankle opening is quite wide so you’ll want to wear thick socks to avoid rubbing while walking. I walked in the snow and on the ice I didn’t notice any slippage so I think they’re great for outdoors

Off Road Beatle Boot
I have always worn dress style Chelseas (Beatle boots.) but didn't even know that a work/hiking boot style was available. These are great! They have the traditional elastic side and pull straps, but is a beefy, well made boot. The sizing rsn a little small and I have wide feet, so I went a half size up so I can wear socks. The sole has a nice tread on it and the shoes are slip free in just about all surfaces.

Quality boots, affordable price
These CGRRBW Men’s Slip-On Chelsea Boots feature elastic side panels for easy on/off and a lightweight design that makes them suitable for work or light hiking without feeling bulky. The ankle height provides good support, with cushioned insoles that absorb impact on various surfaces, though the soles could use more grip on wet terrain. Fit true to size , comfortable from the start with minimal break-in.

Nice Looking Slip On Boot
These slip on Chelsea boots look really nice, are really easy to put on and are very comfortable. I ordered the shoe size that I typically wear and the fit was spot on. They have very thick soles with a decent tread on them. I would not be so sure about using these as hiking boots though, they don't have a lot of hiking-friendly features like being more lightweight, laces for tightening or having water wicking or resistance. They certainly do seem like they would be water resistant though. I like the big elastic sides because this makes them not only easy to get on but also comfortable.I think for me these will be best for heading out when weather is inclement or there is snow on the ground - great for going to the office for a nice look but practical for the weather.

Great Quality, But Insole Discomfort — A Rare Miss from a Trusted Brand
The overall quality of these boots is exceptional, consistent with what I’ve come to expect from CGRRBW. However, there’s a noticeable issue with the insole area—something in the design causes discomfort at the ball of the foot shortly after wearing.Had I not tested them around the house first, this could’ve led to serious pain during a full workday. I would’ve either had to head home early or endure a very rough shift. Both boots show the same issue, which suggests it may be a manufacturing flaw in this specific pair.A set of aftermarket insoles might resolve the problem, but it’s still worth noting. This is unusual for CGRRBW, a brand I’ve trusted across multiple styles with consistently positive results. More than likely, this is a one-off issue from an otherwise reliable manufacturer.✔ Build Quality: Materials and construction are solid✔ Brand Reputation: CGRRBW usually delivers consistent comfort✔ Fit Issue: Insole discomfort at ball of foot—potential defect✔ Troubleshooting Tip: Try aftermarket insoles before returning✔ Value: Still a well-made boot if the issue is resolved⚠️ Buyer Tip: Test thoroughly before wearing to work—watch for pressure points near the forefootFinal Thoughts:These boots earn a 3-star rating for their quality and brand reliability, but lose points due to unexpected discomfort. A rare miss from a brand that usually gets it right.Rating: ⭐⭐⭐☆☆— C.J. ForgeReviewed with integrity and firsthand use.
