Comfortable, aggressive arch took a while to get used to but enjoy now, good quality. Think they are overpriced, but I bought these based on a recommendation from daughter without any recent sandal experience other than slides.
I got the sandals back in may. I love wearing them everywhere. They are great to hike in, take a walk in, wear all day. I have noticed a small tear in the sole after a few months of good use. Also the rubber heal gave me blister the first few times wearing them. But overall I love these sandals.
If you have wide feet size up a whole size. Toe strap is comfy and they have a great feeling being thag theyre brand new and not broken in yet.
I’ve worn Chacos for years and have loved them but unfortunately now they have changed the design. Instead of webbing everywhere, now there’s a big rubber section around the heel which not only adds weight but it rubs so badly that I now have to apply moleskin just to wear them. Very disappointed! Why couldn’t they leave a perfect design well enough alone?
First pair of Chaco's were Z Cloud so I have that as comparison. The Z Cloud sole bed is just softer and more comfortable as the day wears on. The rigid ankle portion on the Canyon is what really makes them start to be uncomfortable though. That and the straps have significantly less play to be adjusted for comfort.I didn't get to try these on so that was my mistake. I thought the Z Cloud was going to let me know what these were like but the differences are more pronounced than I expected. Try before you buy.
Great sandals! Fits true to size. Keep straps loose for a comfortable fit. My second pair.
