Great product, I love Chacos
Got these to use while walking to the beach and on the beach. I was a little hesitant at first because they came with instructions for wear! (Who needs instructions for sandals?) However, after slipping them on and realizing the straps run inside of the sole, I was able to quickly adjust them to my feet. They have been great with plenty of support and just enough cushion. I wish they were "hands-free" to put on and take off, but they are very simple after the initial fitting (which is no big thing either). I've had them for at least a month now.
These sandals were exactly what I was looking for, and they arrived quickly in an excellent condition.
I have abnormally large and wide feet for a woman so when I saw these Chocos were men’s I didn’t really flinch, especially for the price. I looked at women’s Chocos and even plain black they were twice the cost of these. These are a little long (although that’s good for sandals since otherwise your feet slide out of them while walking) but otherwise fit me great!
The sandal fits as expected. Very comfortable. I would have preferred a toe strap because I like to wear mine a little loose and when I do with these sandals I feel my foot sliding off the side. But overall I really like them. They are easy to adjust.
To date I've owned a few different Chacos and each time wore them into the ground, straps just about ready to give and wearing through the bottom. Looking at these I've no idea how well they will hold up with time and hope to come back and update this review after I've put a few more miles on them. For the time being, these are the comfiest pair of sandals I've owned to date. Not as comfortable as a great set of running shoes, but straps not worn out and a squishier top has me ready to give up the old set instead of wearing them until they fall off this time around. They are without a doubt in my mind a solid improvement comfort-wise over the Unaweep and Yampa. Testing so far has been chores around the house and a few miles over the past week.Looks are to each their own, coloring on the Aero Blue looks to be the same. Gray top is a slight difference from the black bottom, but blends in well enough. Straps still need to be cut to length to keep from dragging on the ground, but in all only minor work from pulling them out of the box until they are good to go and remain that way until they wear down.An update, I went for a good walk the other day and put on about 5 miles on pavement. Still holding up well, still no real signs of wear, and still not as comfortable as my running shoes so recovery is harsher, but better than my old Chacos.
Little lighter tha my other Chacos but durable and comfortable. I think softer footbed too.
