Comfortable with great arch support
I'm super picky about shoes but since discovering Chacos a few years back, I can't go back. These are the best hiking sandals ever. I hiked all around the Grand Canyon, Bryce, Zions, Yellowstone, and Arches with my old pair (which is still going strong after several years of use). They grip like nobody's business, dry quickly, and are secure and comfortable on your feet. I honestly can't hike in any other shoes.I'm not a fan of the toe wrap, but this style is the bomb, and the thin double straps and bright colors are so cute. I'm a true 8.5, but the 8 in Chacos fits perfectly. Size down for half sizes. These run a bit big.Chacos are best suited for feet with high arches. My husband couldn't wear them with his flat feet.

I wear them EVERYWHERE. From out and about to IN THE OCEAN/LAKE/RIVER!
These are now my favorite sandals. They took me a little bit to love, at first I felt they were chunky or heavy, and they are a little bit but it’s because they’re so durable. They’re no TEVAs. After wearing them for 6 months now they’re just so comfortable, and secure on my feet. They’re thick and durable. I wear them everywhere, including right into the water at the river/lake/ocean!!! They’re super cute too, they can be dressed up a little bit.For the price, you can’t beat them either.

Great Sandals
These are my favorite sandals! I had a pair with the toe loop for 5 years but after 2 kids, the toe loop would tighten around my toe and cut off circulation. These seem to fit a little smaller than others (I am typically between a 9-10) the 10s fit me perfectly so if you are unsure, I say go with the slightly bigger size. There is a higher arch so could be uncomfortable if you have flatter feet. I wore them in the water and all day at the fair and they dried well and are not slippery. My last pair lasted 5 years and are still in great condition so they last a long time- these ones are still pretty new but they are just as nice as the first pair. Worth the higher cost.

I highly recommend, especially if you want comfort, ruggedness, and durability
These are extremely well-made sandals- appropriate for any type of warm-weather outdoor activity. At first, I had trouble getting my feet into the straps, even though I don't typically buy wide shoes, however after some play with the straps, I was able to adjust them perfectly. I'd recommend some patience when first trying them on. The straps really are very, very adjustable, but it may take some time to get them right for your own feet. Once you do that, and wear them once or twice, you're good to go- no struggle getting into them.I've worn them in the park and during trips out with my kayak. They are perfect because they are lightweight, and can be worn in the water, yet they have an undeniable athletic feel, and can likely take quite a beating. I highly recommend these for anyone with low arches, as these provide tremendous arch support. The reason for the four stars is that there is almost too much arch support for me, although I don't think that will impact my comfort overall, once they are fully broken in. I would definitely buy more if not for the price, but I also know these will last.

You can hike all day in these sandals and they will last forever
I bought these to replace a pair of Chacos in the same style that were at least 11 years old, that i'd had resoled once before. The second sole was also worn out and the straps were fraying a bit so I figured it was time, I more than got my money's worth out of the original pair. You can actually hike rugged trails in these sandals, and they are the only sandal I've ever owned where I had no concerns putting them on in the morning expecting a full day on my feet. San Francisco bay area trails, muddy hikes in Hawaii, cobbled streets in Europe, all good. Also great for wearing into the ocean or a lake with a rocky beach. These fit true to size, I am usually a 9 and the 9 regular fits perfectly. I have narrow feet and there's definitely extra length in the webbing, the regular would fit a regular foot fine. If you think your feet are chubby or you ever buy a wide shoe you should probably go with the wide option.I prefer the double-narrow strap style to the single-wide strap style because it feels like it adjusts a bit more precisely around the toe area. I have never had any issues with the straps rubbing uncomfortably except if I wear them into salt water and don't do a great job of washing off the salt and sand afterwards.I really can't recommend these enough if you are going to do anything even vaguely active in a warm climate, even just walking 5 miles around the city. I expect this pair to last another 10 years, when you look at how much they cost it seems on the expensive side "for sandals" but the quality and value is top notch.

10/10 recommend
Love them. My first Chacos and I made a great first choice. I watered my plants and got my feet all wet and it wasn’t uncomfortable and they dried v quickly. It’s a little tough readjusting the straps but it’s not impossible. I have v flat feet and tissue paper thin skin on top—but, my Chacos are so comfortable and the straps don’t dig into me. I wear 10 and ordered my size, they fit well.

Cute and my Z tan line is impressive!
These are so cute and comfortable. They have great support for your arch and a firm sole so you don't feel the rocks like you do when you're wearing a foam soled flip flip or teva. I'm a fall risk cause I don't watch where I'm going so I absolutely must have a shoe that straps to my feet but during summer I get so sick of socks and tennis. I love these and they are so cute.
