Perfect Sandal!!
I have a high arch and have to wear very specific shoes in order for my plantar fasciitis not to act up- hence i only wear Brooks tennis shoes with a metatarsal foot smart insert to walk and work out in. A friend advised that she too had a high arch and that Chacos were her “go to” sandal to wear. I decided to give them a try and I am not disappointed. The shoes are comfortable, provide support and versatile (i can wear them to the beach, to walk, or out shopping for groceries). I definitely have to go get a pedicure now that I have found a sandal that i can sport all the time. I usually wear an 8.5 or 9 depending on the shoe, but for Chacos I have found the 8 (since they only come in full sizes) works for me. I initially tried the size 9 using prime wardrobe, but it was just too loose and big, but the 8 fit like a glove!!! perfect. Some may think the price is a tad much, but I have learned with shoes that buying quality is always worth the extra expense. Totally recommend for anyone who likes to be sporty and fashionable at the same time!!

Comfortable and Durable
I love Chacos! I own several pair because they are the most comfortable sandals I’ve ever tried. I purchased this particular pair because I wanted the option of not having the straps around my big toe. This style is easier to slide on and off. They aren’t as tight to my foot as the ones with the strap around the toe. If you have never owned a pair of Chacos and are thinking of splurging, you won’t be disappointed. But make sure to get the style that best suits your needs. If you want to wear them all day (not sliding them off and on throughout the day) and you want a tennis shoe type of fit for all day activities, then get the ones that go around your big toe. They stay in place and provide as much support as a tennis shoe. If you are going to be sliding in and out of the shoe several times a day and won’t be doing a lot of activities, then get this style. I love both styles. When they get dirty, I throw them in the washing machine and they come out like new. I first purchased a pair for my daughter almost 4 years ago and she wears them constantly. They definitely held up over time and consistent use. My 1st pair is about 3 years old and still in great condition after a lot of use and trips to the washing machine. I wear size 7 tennis shoe and the size 7 Chaco fits me perfectly. They are true to size.

Best versatile shoes - worth the money
I love Chacos, my previous pair lasted more than 13 years. Rather than going thru Chaco and paying to have my old pair re-threaded and re-soled, I decided to get a new pair and recycled my old ones at the local recycling center. These shoes are perfect for me: a busy mom who is on my feet all day at home with my young kids, hiking and playing outdoors, and around town. I absolutely love these new colors. The new straps they are using are much easier to adjust for an absolutely perfect fit. I also got the new Cloud sole and so glad I did; it's like walking on a memory foam pad! The arch support is the best and much appreciated, especially in a sandal, because my back does better when I wear good shoes. I'm looking forward to having this new pair for at least another 13 years as well. I recommend these shoes to anyone who wants comfort and style, regardless if you spend any time at all in the outdoors.

My old Chacos finally bit the dust after 10 years. I was worried that the new ones wouldn't be as comfortable, but I was super and happily surprised. These are SO comfortable. Great support, and very cushy. For the people in other comments that are complaining about adjustment, they literally come with instructions on how to adjust tightness, just like the Chacos of yester years. I Highly recommend!

Wish these were perfect
These are my second pair of Chacos, and my first with the regular sole and straps (first were leather). I love these and wear them for every walk, and I walk two or three miles a day in the summer. PROBLEM: these hurt the pinky on my right foot, and I have to tuck it outside the strap. My husband has worn chacos for yeeeeaaars and he tried adjusting the straps every which way, but nothing has helped except just gently tucking my pinky toe outside of that strap. After that fix these are my favorite summer shoe for walking and hiking. I’ve actually done four months of archaeological fieldwork in socks and chacos, including daily survey hikes, excavation, and general use; other than the danger of uncovered toes, I swear by Chacos for arch support and stability. Cured my plantar fasciitis.

I purchased these Chaco sandals around a year ago. In that time, I’ve hiked miles of the AT in them, they’re my go to shoe for kayaking, paddle boarding and boating, and I’ve worked around the farm in them. They’ve held up great! Getting the fit right is important, so take the time to adjust the straps correctly for your feet. This I my second pair of Chacos, the first pair wrapped around your big toe. I got 4+ years of wear out of that pair and loved the look and fit. I was a little worried the wrap over your foot wouldn’t feel as secure. Turns out, that has not been an issue even with heavy wear. These shoes still look great and feel good on my feet. Fashion tip: you don’t have to be “outdoorsy” to wear Chacos. Throw them on with a cute summer dress and your feet will thank you.
