Boot is a little short

I love these boots soft super comfortable and very cute. I had purchased similar boots from another company but they are now discontinued. This boot was recommended. The other boot was Velcro which I liked better but these were so close I decided to try them.The recommended size was 8.5which is my actual size.But the toe is a little square at the top and was pushing against my thumb toe so I am returning and trying the next size up. Hopefully they won't be too big! The boot is very cute just a bit short which is why I gave it four stars

Painful where back hits your leg

Bought these in the summer on sale for winter use. Wish I hadn’t. The backs of them hit my calves/ankles at just the wrong place and it’s extremely uncomfortable to walk in them. Plus the bottoms are very slippery and have no traction at all. I do like the navy color and how they look but if you can’t wear them because they hurt, what’s the point?

I like that these boots keep my feet warm, but they are very stiff (like hard plastic) on the back of the ankles. They literally made a hole in the back of my ankles the first time I wore them. I bent them a bunch so now they are tolerable to wear but still not very comfortable. There is no padding whatsoever in the bottom and zero arch support, which luckily I don’t need. The main positive is that they are wide enough in the foot so your feet don’t feel squished.
