Boots in general are not built like they used too. Used to be they will last a life time. Now you will be lucky to get a couple of years because the sole rots off with poor rubber material. These boots are expensive, but they will be the last boot you will ever have to buy. So in essence the price is worth it. Very comfortable and well built.

Didn't really want the mocc toe, but couldn't find plain toe available anywhere. These boots are comfortable and require no break-in. Zippered back makes them easy to put on and take off. They're Chippewas, man! Buy a pair. They'll probably last 20 years.

Boots and shoes that I purchase are typically 9 to 9.5 with this boot most reviews were saying that the boot runs large - not so for me and my high instep. I ordered 9.5 EE and could not get my foot pass the zipper so I reordered a 10.5 which worked. Included a pic of the product tag located inside the boot FYI.
