Great Boots

I've been wearing these boots for over 13 years. (Several new pairs over the years.) They are the best! They meet all my needs; Comfort, Protection, Weatherproof, and Traction. I am a local truck driver and have to wear steel toe shoes. I love the support of these boots. I had a heavy object fall on my toe, the steel toe bent and bruised my toe but I think the steel toe saved me from a big injury.

Best BOOTS EVER!!

These boots are the best boots you'll ever buy! My 3rd pair in 25 years! They last forever. They fit perfectly, no blisters, absolutely durable and I literally wear them every day, and for what I've put them through...they still look new ...SO worth every penny. I can't stress even enough how awesome these Chippewa logger boots are!

These boots are made for working, and that's just what they'll do

I bought these boots last summer, and they served me well at work. I wore them to cut down trees, dig ditches, and bust rocks in the mountains. They supported my ankles well, like actual women's boots, and the soles gripped the side of the mountain like glue. They are perfect for working on an incline. They're honestly waterproof, so they're ok for crossing small streams, but you have to step between slippery rocks, not on them. They do not perform well on slippery, smooth surfaces like rocks or ice. They are fantastic in the snow, though. The top closes fairly tightly, so very little gets in the top, and the tongue is attached to the boot all the way up, so snow doesn't get in the front either. That tongue was very annoying at first, leaving pressure sores on the tops of my feet, but the leather eventually submitted and the boots are very comfortable now. They're very warm... perhaps a little too warm in the summer. They're a little stinky now, and I need to start taking care of the inside as well as the outside. I've loved them too much. Still, these are the best boots I've ever owned, and I'd highly recommend them for anyone who needs to work their work boots hard.

other than I liked the looks of them

I bought these boots just to wear, no special reason, other than I liked the looks of them. I found them to fit perfectly, wear comfortably. They are totally awesome! They are a lil spendy but u get what u pay for. I liked these boots so well I ordered another pair ,only in black.I love it that they are waterproof & insulated. My feet are always cold & my feet are nice & warm. These boots are fantastic. I wear them most of the time. Its hard to go back to any other shoe. I highly recommend!! I wish they would come out with more colors!!

Awesome but only last about a year.

They're awesome boots. They very comfortableonce they breakin. But for the money they don't last as long as they should IMO. My last pair which are same exact boots only lasted about 1 year before the leather cracked and formed holes. I've had Carolina boots last just as long, but were $100.oo cheaper. The only reason I bought them again is Carolina stopped making the boots I wore in "black". I wanted "black" boots. For $300.oo they should last 2-3 years..

These are perfect

i have worn these for the last 22 years and in those 22 years I have been through 6 pair, that gives you an idea of how long they last, the soles are immaculate and the comfort is great, perfect for being on your feet all day every day. The only thing you would have to replace or fix on these bad boys is the lacings. Perfect arch support and like walking on sponge with excellent stability in the step and the ankle. The leather over the steel part of the toe will wear off a bit but thats all due to wear and tear of anything, I absolutley love these boots.
