These boots are wonderful. I did get them on sale but would have purchased anyway. They slip on and off so easy, no hands needed. They are cozy, warm, and soft. Being in snow belt Ohio, boots are essential especially when doing farm chores, shoveling snow, or just going from one building to another. I liked them so much I purchased a 2nd pair for myself and a 3rd pair for a friend
Goldilocks version in terms of fit, soft & comfortable insulation & sturdy foot base. Neoprene is washable & can put picaridin bug spray on them (effective as DEET) without harming them like DEET would. Just the right ankle height so they don't hit right at the bone. Tab on the back slips them on nicely. Good for woods, dusty walks, snow & rain. Just bought them, but scouted a bit & while not super cute, they are well sealed & fit nicely.Note on fit for Chookas - they run a little big, but no 1/2 sizes. I usually wear a 7, but sometimes 6 -1/2, but for boots & clogs, 6 is sometimes just right & these are & even accommodate my wide foot & high arches.PS: I loved these boots so much that I bought a 2nd pair. They aren't too hot to wear in MN this time of year & I love that they clean up so nicely.
To be clear, I'm giving these a 5-star review without having put them to the test. I can't say how they'll hold up but they definitely feel solid and well made. I have tried on a number of ankle rain boots as well as deck boots and I found these to be the winner for my upcoming trip to Iceland. I love the tread (lug sole) and the stability the full heel (I very much disliked the inset heels like the Hunter and many other rain boots). And, honestly, these are by far the best looking/most stylish of all the boots I tried on, despite the fact that I was looking for function first. *Sizing note: I'm a standard size 9 and these were a perfect fit with a thin sock but I sized up to accommodate a thick wool sock for the extra warmth.
Very comfortable. Runs a little big. Waterproof. Have held up great in the snow and rain. I would buy these again without hesitation.
A little uncomfortable until broken in but after that these shoes are perfect for Washington's wet weather... they keep my feet dry!
I work in a fish market and deli. Dry working conditions. Hard floor. These boots last MAYBE 7 months before I had to buy another pair. This is my second pair. Bottoms wear out quickly and tops have cracked on both shoes on both pairs. Such a bummer. They’re too pricey to be so cheaply made. But they are good when they’re good!
I've had these boots for less than 2 months of normal wear a couple times a week and they're already breaking. There's a crack along the seam and they are no longer water proof. Complete waste of money. I don't recommend buying these if you want something that lasts . It's past the return window so I'm sol I guess.
