Good alternative to paddock boots
We bought these as an alternative to paddock boots for my son for equestrian camp. They have the heel and rounded toe needed for safety and aren't tight around the ankle, something that really bothers him about traditional riding boots.

Definitely need high socks
I wore these with what I thought would be high enough socks for max 10mins and I have visible super sensitive scabs from where these shoes rubbed the back of my legs.I want to try longer socks but I’m not ready to try again yet. Also I remember reading about the foot opening and it looked fine, but man it was narrow! I may have to cut the side of the elastic to get a smidge extra space.Overall - kept my feet dry and don’t necessarily look like a wet weather shoe.

Could not even pull up on my foot.
I was really looking forward to these boots because I needed something easy to slip on for yard work. I typically wear a size 11, so I ordered an 11. However, I couldn’t even get my foot into the boot. Despite wearing lightweight socks, the ankle area was so tight that I couldn’t get my foot past it. Unfortunately, I had to return them.

Shaft circumference incorrect
I have these boots with the furry lining. The circumference on those reads 11.5. These state 14.5 but that is inaccurate and unfortunately they’re smaller in the ankle than the lined ones. I have bigger ankles so I prefer the lined ones, and was hoping these would be like those, but I can’t decide if I’m going to keep these

Look out for your ankles
The boots are super waterproof and comfortable but! make sure that you’re wearing socks or longer pants while you’re breaking them in. I’ve worn them for a week straight and when I’ve got ankle coverage it’s ok!

Left cuts on my leg
I bought a size up for winter layering... it barely got on my foot the 1st time I wore it. I hadn't tried them on before I wore them to work, which was my fault. By the time I got to work my pant leg had ridden up and my ankle was sore from the boot rubbing against it. By the time I left work I was limping, bleeding from the cuts on my leg. Returning. Also, I'm ashy in the pic, let it rock because it hurt to touch for over a week.
