These worked great for the summer and well in the water, though got a lot of sand in them at the beach! The soles are nice and thick so they are very sturdy. They look really cute with summer outfits and we plan to buy another pair next year
These are great breathable shoes with quick dry fabric on top. The interior bottoms look to be more of a cotton blend and are not quick dry, but they do dry within a day if you leave them out. The soles are very flexible and great for early walkers who still need to “feel” their walking. Sizing is way off - my son is a size 4 in the cat&jack target brand and this size 6 is probably the equivalent of a cat&jack 5.5 - picture included as reference. That said, my mistake in ordering two sizes up actually worked out fitting perfectly with a tiny bit of room to grow.
The shoes are pretty good for spring/summer. They are flexible. I ordered a size 9 guessing it would fit like a half size bigger. It’s like a size bigger. I measured my 20 month olds foot and shoes so people can see before ordering and hopefully it will help them order the size they want. Not too small or not too big. The size chart doesn’t show sizes smaller than 11. That’s why I took a wild guess and ordes size 9. I kept them. He wore them and people like them. They ask me were I purchased them.
Loved these. Got a size 5.5 for my 11 month old in July 2022. He has fatter feet (both wide and tall, not long), so the wide opening was a game-changer for us. He was able to wear them through the end of summer/fall. They are sturdy enough to be worn on a regular basis and became his regular summer sneaker. Perfect for when you are going somewhere that might have a surprise splash pad, creek, etc. Currently buying a bigger size for summer 2023.
We are staying home during the pandemic. So my kiddo only wears them in the backyard and an occasional walk. The soles came out after a few days. I can just stick them back in. But these really aren’t the best quality. However.. good bang for the buck for a simple play shoe. Rubber soles for running and easy to wear.
The insole is much thicker than most and holds up well. It comes out easily for washing the shoes out when they get muddy. Easy to get on. Tough soles that hold up well. We love them!
I bought one size larger than my daughter's current size based on other's reviews. There is a little room beyond her toes to grow, but width-wise they fit perfectly. The velcro makes them no hassle. My daughter loves them. I like that the mesh keeps pebbles from getting into her shoes. When she wears regular sandals she gets pebbles stuck in them and they hurt her feet. I told her these shoes are her "sunny day shoes" so now she says "sunny day shoes!" randomly while she has them on. It's pretty darn cute 😍.
