Cheap barefoot shoes for kids!
No joke I have purchased these shoes (in varying colors and sizes) 21 times in the last decade... that fact surprised even me when I saw how often I've ordered these - but I have 4 kids and I value foot health, so $60 a pop for kids shoes from barefoot companies is not realistic. These look like sneakers, so they're kosher for climbing gyms and classes, but are completely flat and flexible, and can move through water easily. They don't last forever, but kids grow out of shoes at a wild rate, and somehow these seem to wear out right as they're starting to get snug. This blue/grey/red color combo for my boys is the best, I do wish they had cuter colors in this design for my girls though.

Wide and flexible!
My son is very picky about his shoes, very sensory. These are wide enough and flexible enough. He wears them for his church shoes. This is his third pair. We do have to be careful when it rains though because there are little tiny holes in the bottoms of the shoes. But it works for us.

Love these shoes!
My 5 year old daughter uses these shoes for ninja warrior. We first bought the purple in the spring. I went by the size chart after measuring my daughter’s foot, but her foot was around 7” at the time and after ordering a few times we ended up at the size 10 (which says 6ish inches). They are getting tight on her, so I bought 11s, but she isn’t happy with how loose the 11s are. I bought a 10.5 thinking it would be able to bridge her over, but they just arrived and are SMALLER than the 10s. Looking at the tag, the 10s show size 28, the 11s show 29, and the 10.5 shows 27. So I am going to send these back and try to just go from the 10 to 11. Her foot is currently 7.25” for referenceOther than the slight sizing issues, these shoes have been great. She has worn them 1-2x per week for ninja class for 10 months, and then occasional playground use, and we hiked for a few miles per day on vacation. The rubber by the big toe has started separating a little, but they are still very useable, and would last for a lot longer if they still fit her feet! So definitely a good value.I will say that the Velcro options do get tighter to stay on the feet than the drawstring. A friend of my daughter’s bought the drawstring kind and it kept coming loose. It is also very easy to put on the feet. My daughter can put these on easily, while she has other shoes that she has to ask for help to get her heel into.I love these shoes and will definitely continue to buy.

Box toe shoe
The only shoes my son likes! The only ones he likes to wear. He says he has enough space to wiggle and spread his toes. Being a navy vet, my feet are messed up, from wearing steel toe boots for years. So I was in a mission to care for my kids feet to prevent problems in the future. I can't fix them getting their high arches from me, but they won't have bunions from using too narrow shoes. They use these shoes for everyday, even to play soccer! Super comfortable and it's a good price! Great quality.... the only reason I had to replace them was because he had outgrown them!

Super comfortable, Did not last 3 months!
My 8 year old, active son LOVES these shoes. He says they are the most comfortable shoes he has worn and he feels free in them. However, they were delivered on April 26th. It is June 18th. The rubber toe part has not just separated, he has a clearly formed holes in the fabric of the shoe as well as rips and tears all throughout the shoe! He is tough on shoes but this is ridiculous....

Excellent minimal / barefoot shoe, remove insole, allows wide toe splay, zero drop
Wow, such a great price for an affordable minimalist / barefoot style shoe. We got the kind with velcro, and it's so fast and easy for my 7yo to get on and off by himself. He has a wide foot with a high instep, and his toe splay is wide, the widest part of his foot (healthy and strong foot!). It's usually a nightmare finding shoes for him, because any shoe that narrows in the toe area, presses on his toes and bothers him. He put these on, and was happy with them instantly, and wearing them exclusively for months since then. So far, super durable as well! I've laundered them a couple times in a mesh bag, sit out flat to dry. We've been switching our whole family to minimalist / barefoot style shoes in order to have healthier feet, and these are one the best values we found so far. We did remove the insole, as it's slightly not zero drop - the heel is a little elevated over the forefoot. They are fine to wear without insole, or we bought a square of wool insole material off Amazon and cut it to fit the shoe. Because of that, he wears the shoes without socks, as the wool insole makes the footbed super soft. I wouldn't get the ones without velcro, as we tried some and they are harder for a kid to get on.
