Comfortable and sturdy but the colors and style are in the eyes of the beholder

I made sure that I got a couple of weeks of daily use before reviewing these sneakers. Too many times what felt right when trying on shoes in a store and walking 20 feet turns into discomfort and disappointment after getting home and I begin wearing them for everyday use.At first glance the style is unremarkable. Unless you’re up on the latest sneaker trends and looks, then that person might disagree with me. I admit to not being a fashionista. Like art, I know what I like when I see it. The style design of this sneaker wouldn’t be my first choice but I wouldn’t discount it either.What always drives my first choice is comfort and durability. I can speak to the comfort aspect: they are comfortable. The insoles are generously cushioned. The soles are definitely non-slip and sturdy. I felt safe and confident that I wasn’t going to slip or slide walking on hard surfaces (think sidewalks and paved streets) even when wet. Durability will only be determined with regular use over time but I have the sense that they’re going to hold up for the long run.The colors and patterns are subject to personal taste so it really is impossible for me to judge whether someone should or shouldn’t purchase them for that reason. But if comfort and durability overrides style and design then I would recommend that you consider these sneakers.
