Lovely, versatile booties for dressing up or down!
Very lovely, sleek-looking pair of booties! The merlot color is simply gorgeous. I adore the attention to detail where the front of the boots are shinier (possibly more stain-resistant?) before transitioning to a soft, velvety buffed nubuck texture. The gunmetal of the metalware matches perfectly and the hook-and-loop helps secure an adjustable fit. These were comfortable to walk in, although the cushioning is very light. The foam insert is removable if you prefer thicker cushioning. The upper shaft or boot collar did dig into my ankles, but I'd imagine with more use it should become soft as real leather often gets with continued use. I really appreciate that these came in wide for my size, offering a roomier toe box. I unfortunately ended up returning these since I needed something more durable and waterproof (nubuck requires more care to maintain) but these look incredibly attractive and seem to be well worth the price.

Great color
Love these booties. I bought them in Merlot a good color, definitely in the maroon family but a dark, blendable color I can wear with a lot of my wardrobe. I like the style and it is a very comfortable boot. Yay, they do come in narrow width. I wear size 8 and narrow when I can find narrow. Length is fine. I can wear trouser socks but no room for thicker. Something I totally missed when buying is the ankle strap which is velcroed and can be loosened for a less tight fit at the ankle. All in all, good value, good addition to my closet; I would buy again.
