Been a fan of Clark’s original desert boot since forever, but these are a big improvement: the cushioned footbed is way more comfortable. Very nice shoe, classic look, and a bargain for the price.
These are nicer than I expected. I know Clark’s doesn’t have the quality, like many shoemakers, that they had 20-30 years ago. But I like this model of desert boot. The profile is not chunky, the suede is soft and supple, and the foam insert is soft and more comfortable than the traditional inside of the regular model desert boot. I also prefer this gum rubber sole to the crepe sole. It looks nicer, is grippier, and I think it will last longer. I am skeptical these boots can be resoled, so I think this is an advantage for this sole. I normally wear an 11 and sized down to a 10.5. The fit is good, albeit slightly roomy. I could have probably gone down to a 10, but I would always want shoes a hair too big rather than a hair small, so I kept these. Make sure you treat your suede to reduce stains and water marks.
Like the shoe good quality for value of money. but the reason I give 4 stars is size, whatever your size is I recommend maybe going two or one size down. I wear a size 13 I probably could have went a size 12 or 11 because they run super big. but over all good shoe. And plus it’s my first pair of Clark’s I know now tho
I keep reaching for this pair of shoes. The only thing I wish for is finer sizing and perhaps one more pair of eyelets for a more secure lacing.

Bought these last year. They still fit comfy after several long outings. The supportive soles are holding up and performing nicely. I like the non-crepe sole since it is more versatile for the weather conditions. Well constructed. It’s a decent suede too—maintain with a suede brush and protect with silicone spray. Remember this is an unlined boot though so lighter weight and it seems to be a glued welt.
