The perfect penny loafer. I usually wear an 11D but a 10 is perfection.
I have had a very hard time finding a good penny loafer. They are either too big or too small. Most of the time the back of the shoe doesn't hug the back of the heel so it slips off when you walk. Or the sides of the foot are too big.For these shoes, many are saying they are too big. Well, usually I wear a size 11. I ordered 11 because people said they run big. My feet were swimming in the shoes. I so took a bold step and ordered a full size down. Size 10 - and guess what? They are perfect.These shoes look great, fit perfectly and have none of the other issues with the other shoes I've tried from different companies.I even tried Allen Edmonds - a very pricey shoe. None fit right. Cole Haan - a brand I usually really like felt like cheap boat shoes. Rockport fit great but the leather is really thin, the sole is thin and the dye wasn't done well (thin in spots). More like a slipper. Really disappointing there. I ended up keeping the Cole Haan and Rockport. The AE shoes are going up on the "e".But let me tell you, these shoes are perfect! And not heavy like some are reporting. The cheapest option and the best option. Who knew?And PS The boot-like sole is really interesting.

Comfortable and High Quality
Very comfortable insoles and feels very well constructed. The sole of the shoe is somewhat chunky I felt like it give me a little over additional inch my height (which I don't mind). I wear a size 11 but these don't 'look' like 11s on my feet; they look smaller (which, again, I don't mind) - I figure it has something to do with the slightly chunky construction. The tan leather was beautifully dyed which makes the shoe not only feel premium but look it as well.All in all, money well spent - I would recommend these.

Sturdy and comfortable
This is a sturdy and well built shoe, that I expect should last a while based on past experience with similar Clark’s loafers. While I’ve seen other reviews that did not care for the weight of this shoe, one must remember that they are rubber soled and when compared to other rubber soled shoes, like Dr Martens, they are not really heavier than one would expect. Versatile, classic design that wears well with formal, business or casual alike. Comfortable insoles, decent support and the tread does well in inclement conditions.

I originally ordered a size 10 after reading some reviews, which suggested to go a full size down. I then found the shoe to be too constricting around the toes, so I went back up to a size 10.5 (for reference, I normally wear size 11)I found this to be a very snug and comfortable fit.
