Good Fit and Well-Made
Just got the shoes today and already writing the review. That's different for me. The shoes are a good fit. A little tight that's most likely due to the single gore under the tongue, or flap if you will, but will no doubt loosen up during a short break-in period. Wear thin socks and use a shoe horn. The construction of the suede uppers match perfectly. The placement of the raised seam down the middle from the instep to the toe is the same with both shoes. The color, Cola Suede, appears to be more like taupe. I would have preferred a color like the one in Amazon's photos. No biggie. The crepe soles are top notch.I normally wear size 10 M USA in Clarks Men's shoes. These shoes are from the Clarks Originals line and they tend to be a half size larger. I got that bit of information from a salesman at a Clarks brick-and-mortar store. Since then when I order Clarks Originals, I order a half size down to 9.5 M USA.The salesman's advice worked for three pairs of Clarks Originals Desert Trek shoes, four pairs of Court Lite Wally Boat shoes, and of course this new pair of Desert Mosier Loafers. The only time the advice didn't work was with the Desert Nomad shoes, which are also Clarks Originals. I had to exchange them for my regular size of 10 M USA. I believe it's because the Desert Nomad shoes are made in a different country than where the other shoes are made.
