Clarks always provides excellent quality in fit and style and construction. These slippers have had the same good construction as the highest priced Clarks shoes and boots have. They are warm and comfortable and sturdy. I love them. They could be worn as regular shoes in good weather, but I think rain and snow would probably damage them.
I am in love with these slippers and will admit that I've actually worn them out in the world because they don't really look like slippers. They have a great tread, so there's no slipping if walking to the mailbox or making a quick coffee run. They stay put, aren't showing wear (despite LOTS of wear), are comfortable, and they keep my feet super warm. I initially got this color combo because they were the one on sale, but I think I'd pay full price for these.
My wife was in search of the perfect slippers, she found them with these. She wears a 7 wide. After ordering and trying 5 different pairs, these arrived and are perfect. The width is perfect, as is the length. Very high quality, excellent stitching and they look like they'll last a long time. They look more like shoes than slippers so can be worn outside of the house. The other slippers tried were all about a half size too big and not wide enough.
I was looking for a wide slipper that was warm and could be used for a quick run outside. These slippers are very attractive. They are warm and comfy. However, they are not wide enough for my foot. They are tight with a very thin sock so I wear them with no socks. There is little arch support which causes my knees to hurt if I do too much walking in them. If you can tolerate a hard, flat sole, then these slippers should be fine. I purchased my usual size but regret not sizing up.
Great house shoes, lasted a year of daily wear.
I bought these as "house slippers," but they're so warm & comfy, I just wear them EVERYWHERE! I even walk an hour a day in them during our CA Winter, as they're more comfy & warm than ALL of my good walking shoes!I've got poor circulation so my feet are usually unbearably COLD all Winter, but not since these shoes arrived! I can't tell you how WONDERFUL it is to no longer suffer of chronicly freezing feet! I'm absolutely AMAZED at how well they're performing outdoors as "walking shoes!" Should they ever wear out, you can believe I'll be quickly replacing them with another pair!
These look nice but seem to take on stains very easily. Use a stain protector spray before use.I will probably not buy this brand again because they look so stained and sloppy after a very short amount of timeI have purchased a similar style from Cabela's and didn't have this problem, but wanted to try a different brand because of my personal politics about gun control.They are not overly hot unlike other slippers I have tried but they stain something awful just from regular household use
