Great shoes but need to return

I purchased these shoes for my Aunt last year for Christmas ( Dec 10, 2024) because I had purchased before a similar pair of Clark’s for her that she absolutely loved. She is in her 80’s and has difficulty walking. She just informed me this month, that she has never worn the shoes, because they were too tight on her instep. I purchased a replacement Clark’s 9W CloudStepper on 9/14/2025 and they were a good fit. . Could I still return for a credit?
