What you need to know!
This review is LONG because it answers a lot of the questions that I had when looking at the other reviews. The A.I. wasn't much help when I was searching for information from both the sellers, Amazon, and reviews. I sincerely hope that this helps other folks with their decision as to whether this is the right shoe for them or not. Pro: I love the Cloud Stepper line of casual footwear! I have flat feet with short toes that need a good arch support. The problem with most shoes with steel inserts in the tennis shoe or leather loafers are that they are increasingly too heavy for me now that I'm elderly. I have osteoporosis and plantar fasciitis in my heels and must use a rollator walker when I leave my home to buy groceries. I purchased the natural color shoe (shown in the website photo) and was delighted at the sparkly fabric! It doesn't show in the photo just how cute this shoe looks! I also purchased the same size in Navy and Black, but they are just plain colored fabric like their website photos. Wish all of them were sparkly like the Natural color, but they are all Lightweight, comfortable and both the shoes and the removable insert are machine washable!! There is an information card inside each Clarks shoe box that explains the details on this. All of the shoes I purchased on Amazon were extremely well packaged with tissue paper, toe and heel paper inserts, etc. just like the department stores have. Con: They are a well-padded, low-cut style loafer that will NOT fit medical hard plastic supports because of the low cut style and they do NOT have the usual metal arch support in the soles that most Clarks brand shoes have. However, this why they are so lightweight most likely, so I'm satisfied. I tested the arch support by bending them, and they were surprisingly resistant considering they don't have metal embedded in the soles. I walked a mile and back (grocery store) and they were very comfortable for many hours standing on my feet. Actually, I prefer to wear them all day long they are so comfortable! The only thing that is a true con for me is that my feet sweat unless I'm wearing panty hose, socks, or Peds. Summers in California can be quite hot even on the coast, so I dislike wearing pantyhose except with shorter dresses. I also left a review on the Peds that I purchased on Amazon that solved the feet sweating problem for me. Good luck!
