Well made shoe, cushy sole, wide width is really wide
Got these to wear when there’s a snow on the ground - sadly they have to go back. The sides of the shoe are so tall they literally stop just below your ankle bone - and I have a lipoma on my R ankle bone that has to be removed - therefore I cannot wear these shoes at all. Additionally, the wide width is really wide - so much so that when I would take a step, the leather would crinkle on top of the shoe the length of the top of my foot instead of crinkling side to side from the ball joint to the baby toe joint as most other loafers do. I loved how the shoe covers your whole foot so that walking in snow 3” deep won’t be a problem. They simply won’t work for me even in the regular width due to the lipoma. If you have fat deposits around your ankle bone - these aren’t going to work for you either. They are a well made shoe and have a cushy sole that makes no noise when you walk - a great shoe for those who can wear them!

Not true to size

They run small in size.
Love the look and quality of these, but they definitely run small. I had to return two pairs and keep moving up in size, from my normal 7 to 7-1/2 to 8. The 8 finally fit.

This is a painful shoe
Not the best Clarks. I am finding myself saying more of this about Clarks. The sole is cushioned but the leather is so tough is bruises your feet. You must wear padded socks. The material is hard and unbendable, when putting on it is an entire workout as the back tends to bend it and make the experience so much more painful. This is a painful shoe.
