Purchased with a bit of cynicism, after all I was purchasing 11W. So surprised at the comfort of the rolled seam of the top of the shoe, the heel which will NOT be stuck in sidewalk crevasses, the proper width of the size stated and could be worn for hours without pain. Making my foot look smaller, this shoe was a worthwhile modest investment.
I normally wear a 10w. These shoes run very big. It fit more like an 11 WW and it hit right on my bunion. I will be returning these.
I normally wear a 7 1/2 wide. They do run big and wide isn’t available in a 7.
The shoes stretched and have become a walking hazard for me. I ordered my size (9). They fit perfectly, but as the day progressed, the shoes stretched and began to slip off my feet and made walking extremely difficult, because my feet kept slipping out of the shoes. It was very embarrassing. The product description doesn’t address this situation. Clarke’s return policy doesn’t make address this possibility. I’m extremely disappointed with this shoe and will not purchase Clark shoes again. I don’t have money throw away.
My feet tend to swell so I buy wide shoes. The Clark's Emily Bell is very soft and cushiony. They fit true to size and the wide heel provides all-day comfort. I love them!
I liked these shoes because they looked comfortable, so I wanted to keep them but they are not true to size. I got regular 8 they were too big. I changed them to 7.5 wide they were too big just as size 8. I again changed them to size regular 7.5 now they are too small. So be advised.
