Finally, I found a shoe that's comfy and fits great. I have a very hard time finding shoes that work for me due to ankle and foot injuries from a car accident many years ago.
These shoes are very nice. They're comfortable and the velcro buckle helps keep the shoes from slipping up and down. I have to size up as I'm in between sizes and need a wider width due to arthritis. This is not a heavy shoe and a great value at the Amazon price.
I have a lot going on physically—bone-on-bone knee arthritis, a troublesome knee replacement in the other knee, piriformis and sciatic issues, and I overpronate. Most flats make everything worse. These do the opposite.The gradual rise across the whole sole makes a huge difference. It keeps me stable, prevents my foot from collapsing inward, and reduces the stress on my knee and hip. I don’t get the shooting sciatic pain down my leg when I stand up, which is remarkable for me.I’ve bought Clarks for many years and used to be a solid medium width, but lately the wide fits better and feels more comfortable, so that might help others who are between widths.They’re comfortable, supportive, and the leather molds quickly. If you have knee, hip, or nerve pain and need a Mary Jane that looks stylish but actually supports you, this one is worth trying.
