Another great shoe from Clark's
I now own three pairs of Clark's shoes. I LOVE them! This model is similar in style and equal in quality to the other two pairs I have.*The style is beautiful. Simple, not overly embellished. Classy.*The leather is beautiful and smooth.*I love the color...dark navy.*The fit is very comfortable... I wear size 11 wide.*This shoe slips on...no zippers or buckles. Easy.*I wear this shoe with thin trouser socks...knee-high. (Thicker socks would work, but then the leather would stretch out a bit, making the shoe too large for thin socks.)*The inner sole is well-constructed, finished, and smooth. No lumps, bumps, points, thread knots, or other annoying, foot-irritating elements. There is a padded sole and a bit of arch support, but not a lot. For me, the shoe's inner support is fine...I have naturally strong, normal arches. But, for some, this may not be enough.*The heel box is a tiny bit too roomy for me. (My other Clark's shoes are the same.) My heels slip just a little bit when I walk, but not so much that I am bothered or encumbered by this. The over-all comfort of the shoes is remarkable. I can wear them all day.*The soles are sturdy and not slippery. These are not "snow treads," but they are designed for safety and comfort.*The price, under $60, is really good for such high-quality, leather shoes.Clark's became my go-to shoe brand after receiving my first pair! They are consistently well-made, sturdy, sized correctly, reasonably priced, and gorgeous. I'm always looking to see what new models and colors Clark's has to offer. At 11 wide, my shoe choices are quite limited. Thank goodness for Clark's Shoes!
