Bought these to go on vacation. Did not want to bother with shoe laces at the airport. I walked an average of 6 miles every day for two weeks and they were great. Sturdy and more importantly comfortable. After all that walking, they still look new. Would definitely recommend.
While I am a dedicated Clarks mule wearer, I thought a closed shoe would be best in Hawaii (my Clark mules are fur-lined and awesome, but definitely not Hawaiian fare). The shoes bit me a bit in the heel as I hadn't worn closed shoes in a while, but ankle or no-show socks seemed to do the trick. I bought two pair (white and tan) and they both do extremely well - was able to wear them all day within a week of purchase. So far so good. I have older feet and a bunion on one - and they don't hurt my feet. Pleased with purchases!
I was excited to receive my new Clark's casual slip on shoes but the first day I wore them my heels were rubbed very raw. The raised lip on the heel strikes me at a sensitive spot caused a small raw spot. I wore them with bandaids the next day and the results were still painful. I would return them if I had not worn them already. I have been a fan of Clark's shoes for years but these were not suited to me.
This is a nice shoe but I had to return it. I have several pairs of Clark's clogs and sandals in size 8 which fit great, but this closed shoe was too tight. It was too short in the length. You may want to size up.
I’ve been buying a shoe similar to this for a number of years now, but when I went to buy more of the style I usually buy, no one had them. I looked all over online and no one had them. So I bought this new style the only difference is the shoe strings. I do not like the shoe strings so I cut them off and bought some plain black shoe strings and I’m still not wild about them I like the other style better but they fit the same, so I’m keeping them and I even ordered a second pair.
Love these sneakers ~ perfect fit for my narrow feet when adding my orthotics. Many Clark shoes include extra padding around the back of the heels to help keep your feet from sliding up and down of the shoes. For people with narrow feet this is a huge bonus.
I wear 9.5w. These sneakers were an odd shape and not enough support to keep my foot in the footbed. Disappointed and not the usual clarks blind trust.
