These shoes run too big and wide

I love the style, color, but the shoe was too big for my foot. I have narrow feet, and even with double socks, the shoes kept slipping off the back of my feet. I thought I could get one of those heel liner, but decided that I shouldn't have to wear 2 pairs of socks and a heel liner to keep the shoes, so I return them. I wear a 9.5, but these shoes run too big and wide for me.

I really do love these shoes, especially the tassel. They are a fun shoe to wear. Clark's brand is a good medium priced brand and they hold up well. I've worn Clark shoes for years and years. I needed something with a little more support because I now have a wear a metal ankle brace. These do the trick.

Regret.

Bought these in the correct size and they looked nice. However, I experienced extreme sharp pain on the ball of my left foot wearing these. The pain can start immediately or after a few hours. This has never happened to me with other shoes. It was not an issue of needing to be broken in. Extra “padding” is a joke as these are not for walking/standing most of the day in a typical office job. I donated these within two months. Waste of $95.
