I bought these sneakers for an upcoming trip later this year and specifically bought them because I needed them to be waterproof. I have worn them a couple times to break them in before the trip. They are true to size, very comfortable and are durable. They are a bit heavier than I am accustomed to, but it doesn’t bother me. I can’t speak on its waterproof capabilities as yet, but I really like these shoes so far. Glad I purchased them.
These shoes are very comfortable to wear all day. I have plantar fasciitis and these are great, they allow me to enjoy my hikes and walks. Fit is true to size and I love that they have wide sizes.
The shoes are well-made, with very soft leather uppers, and cushiony to the step. The toe box and heel are roomy and can accommodate socks. Overall, I think it is comfortably true-to-size. However, for long walks on unpaved paths, they don't offer much support or help protect against turning your ankle, the soles are fairly smooth, and the tongue is not gusseted, which limits how waterproof they can be. They are lovely everyday "lifestyle" shoes, with waterproofed leather and a boat shoe look, but not really suitable for even light hiking on more challenging terrain. So I rate them highly for what they are, but now know that they are not designed for a broader range of activities.

I need a wide toe box for my feet. These shoes were very comfortable and roomy for toes. Very pleased with the fit. Also waterproof. Everything I wanted.
