Beautiful sturdy hiking boot. Comfortable and nice color as well
I LOVE THESE! SUPER COMFY! I have been trying on hiking boots for weeks and these are the first pair I actually like.1. The top is durable but soft and DOESN'T DIG INTO MY TOES (you don't how many boots do dig into toes)!. These really feel like they are already broken in and I have only worn them around the house.2. Top is mostly leather/suede with some breathable material as shown in picture. BOOTS ARE JUST LIKE PICTURE.3. The bottom inside has some sort of cool memory-foam type padding which *feels like I am walking on a cloud*.4. I have wide feet and these have plenty of room in the toe area.5. I normally wear 8W and ordered 8.5M and seems like a good size with room for thicker socks.6. Seems well made--but of course I haven't worn them a lot yet6. The tags attached to the boots are written in both Chinese and English and the boots are definitely made in China so judge that how you will.I don't plan on using these more than few weeks a year so I don't need the world's more durable boots. I think they are great for the price. I will update review once I have worn them more.,
These are super cute and very lightweight hiking boots. The weight was a big consideration for me because I dislike being bogged down with heavy boots. The color is nice, they have so far proven to be waterproof (except when I accidentally spilled water off a tarp inside them). I usually wear a size 8.5 so I bought a 9. Then I found out I should probably be wearing a 9 regularly, so a 9.5 might have been a bit better. I'm not sure this comes in a 9.5 anyway, though. I wish they were slightly larger, but they fit well enough and are very comfortable. I've hiked a couple times in them so far and they work well for the job. Overall pretty satisfied with these especially for the price.
Ok. I really needed boots. I was duct taping my other ones and wet feet really get your attention in icy slush. Ordered six different pair from various online companies. I did order up half a size bigger as someone else's review advised that. Well, I didn't expect them all to fit perfect. Tried on the Clorts 2nd to last. Oh, my, I felt like my foot was being embraced in comfort. Soft, warm and like a glove. Wow! Like a deerskin glove fits. Man! Went and ordered 2 more pair right away. Maybe it's just me, but I feel like my feet have went to HEAVEN!. I don't want to take them off! I'm not much on arch support and they're moderate in that department, which I like. Also, roomy in the front part. Maiden Peak and Hi-Tech were too pinchy. Whoever designed and made these Clorts boots is a real artist. The Ariat's are great, but the Clorts are BETTER !!!! I will be hiking a lot in these and in all kinds of weather. Hope your feet are as happy as mine !
What a beautiful shoe! I desperately wanted them to fit but alas...they were a wee bit short for one toe. They were a great quality suede and such a nice weight. Being waterproof with good support...a real winner!
I bought the grey pair in 2021 and immediately took them up the Ramsey Cascades Trail in the Smokies. They had a nice wide toe-box, good arch support, were waterproof, and they were comfortable all day. I have put many many miles on those shoes. But then one of the eyelets popped out this last summer! So I hopped back on Amazon to order another pair because I love them so much, and thought ooh, the black ones are cute!THEY ARE NOT THE SAME SHOE! The toe-box is not wide enough for my feet and they hurt after a couple of miles. Also, the eyelets are sewn on instead of riveted, which is great, but they're not the same shoe. I've tried "breaking them in" but after about 10-15 accumulated miles they still hurt my feet on long walks. I'm very sad.
First off I'd like to say I researched a lot, and after reading many blogs Backpackers blog 80 blogs hiked through blogs it's not necessarily the type of shoe or the price of shoe it's what works best for you. I chose these mid-level hiking boots I have a left ankle surgery years ago I needed support. And being nearly a Avid camper...leisurely; and a moderate hiker Backpacker, I bought the shoes as a mid grade between the highest and lowest prices not quality. These shoes came to me on time, I put them on (fit as well as my Timberlands) as always I waterproof them, check them for flaws...unsealed seams. Right out of the box they fit like a glove. Just to give note I wear a 6-6 1/2, they recommended a size larger for, wool socks, hiking socks, and weatherproof socks. Any event I'm wearing them in the summer and early fall hot seasons, I could use a insert with thinner socks. After many day hikes they are holding up great. I know no shoe can withstand the A. T. Trail all the way but these are going to do a great job. I do plan on buying a second pair if they hold up well through the months and so far no problems they're awesome.
