Legitimate Italian hiking quality—warm, rugged, but stylish enough for the city
I was familiar with CMP (Campagnolo) from skiing in Europe, so I had high expectations for these boots, and they absolutely deliver. At this price point (~$200), you are paying for real leather and serious build quality, not just a logo.The Materials: The Nubuck leather upper is beautiful. It has that soft, brushed texture but feels thick and durable. They look much more refined than a standard clunky work boot. You could easily wear these with jeans to a casual dinner and not look like you just came off a construction site.The Warmth (Fleece Lining): Note that these are lined with a soft fleece. This makes them incredibly comfortable and warm. For our chilly desert winter mornings or trips up to the mountains, they are perfect. However, because of that insulation, these are definitely "cool weather" boots. They would be too hot for a summer hike in high heat.The Fit: I ordered medium size 9 for my son and the fit is spot on with a medium-thickness sock. The toe box is roomy enough that his toes aren't squished, but the heel lock is secure so he doesn't get blisters from his heel slipping up and down.The Sole: The tread is aggressive. It feels very grippy on loose gravel and rock. It’s stiff enough to protect your feet from sharp stones but has enough flex to walk naturally on pavement.Verdict: These are premium "urban hikers." If you want a boot that performs on the trail but looks high-end enough for travel and city wear, these are fantastic.

Warm and Durable Boots, but They Run a Bit Small
Working in construction, I’ve gone through quite a few work boots, and these are solid for everyday winter use. They have good grip, they’re warm with the fleece lining, and they feel durable, though they are on the heavier side. They don’t have a steel toe, so I can’t wear them on every job site, but they are comfortable once broken in. The top collar is a little over padded and pushed into the back of my husband's ankle at first, but that improved after wearing them for a bit.The traction has worked well on wet roads, in the yard, and on the garage floor. I did notice they run slightly small, not drastically, but enough that I’d recommend sizing up a half to a full size depending on your socks. They are decent boots overall, just not particularly unique for the price, especially considering the sizing issue.

Very Warm and Comfortable Boots
These boots are exceptionally warm, making them excellent for camping, general hiking, or working in colder conditions. They are very comfortable, ranking among the most comfortable boots I have worn. The fleece lining is likely the culprit here, and a welcome culprit.The build on these are also exceptional, very sturdy boots with good quality construction. They fit true to size. They are not too heavy, but also not light weight... a good balance I think. I have splashed in these and they kept my feet dry, but I have not yet trully tested the waterproofness of these, so I will report back when I can test that to a better extent. for now I am happy with them and recommend them for the price.Despite the warmth, they are not too hot when worn in milder weather either. Overall I recommend these boots.

These boots are great. I use them as winter boots, and my feet have never gotten wet, not once. They are outstandingly warm and dry without having that outrageously 'clunky' feel, like you're wearing a foot brace. They lace up well and are comfortable and functional, and look pretty stylish while still being functional. If I could change one thing, and this is a problem I have with most durable, heavy-duty boots, it would be the stiffness of the "lip" of the boot that surrounds the ankle. I find that this digs into my ankle / shin as I move, and my ankle/shin are always sore the following day, almost feeling as if they are bruised. Perhaps this could be resolved with some weather-appropriate ultra-thick socks, but I figured I'd mention it.

Took a lickin, kept on tickin
Love this brand! These boys are super durable. We went on a hike and got caught in a rainstorm. They stayed dry and warm. The tread is a major plus, too. It grips gravel, rocky terrain, and no trouble in dirt paths. The cushioning is lightweight and gives just as much push back as the day I got them. I'd definitely buy these 10 times over.

High Quality Boots
These are high quality and durable boots. Being leather, they do take a bit to break in. One broken in they are very comfortable with great traction. The sole seems a bit thin, but very durable rubber, and should last awhile. The leather upper means I don't end up with stickers and such caught in my boots, in Colorado foothills this is a big deal. The fit is perfect, size 13, though the tag was confusing when I opened the box. the box said US13, the tag said US12, but the boot is labeled inside US13, and they are true to that size. The cushion inside is good with a bit of arch support, though the arch support is a bit lacking. They look and feel great. These are pricey, but you get what you pay for, high quality leather boot they fits and feels great.
