First time I have ordered from this manufacturer. I am very pleased. The shoes are attractive and well-made. The toes are rounded and not pointed, and the Velcro strap adds stability. They feel comfortable and will be particularly suitable for those who, like me, have had a knee replacement or are experiencing knee problems that make wearing shoes with heels difficult or impossible.The Amazon site told me that my shoe size for the shoe would be 7.5. I have lost considerable weight and my shoe size now varies between 7 to 7.5. I fortunately chose the 7.5 for this shoe as the 7 would have been too small.

Cutest, most comfortable shoes for arthritic toes!
This is my third pair of Cobb Hill Petra shoes. The other two were in their pewter color, which goes with almost anything I wear and is acceptable for summer wear.I absolutely love the look and more importantly, the feel of Petra! I am an older woman with an increasing number of foot issues. First, I have big, wide feet and long toes. That has always made finding comfortable but fashionable shoes a challenge, and for too many years I squeezed them into high-heels or too-tight-in-the-toes pumps. Due to an injury to my right foot 40 years ago, I walk on the outside of that foot (you can guess what that does to every right shoe in a short time) and my left foot needs arch support. I guess I walk on a slant. Then, due to a bad break, I developed arthritis in my right big toe joints, which means all shoes have to have a tall toe box. And because I'm vain, the shoes can't look industrial-strength ugly.One day I stumbled on Cob Hill Petra and what a day that was! These shoes check all my must-haves.They're comfortable, can accommodate adjustments for arch support (though not always needed), and have enough strength to hold up the outside of my right foot for about a year of use. And they're so cute they make my size 11W clodhoppers look like someone else's feet.Oh, but it looks like Rockport Cobb Hill is no longer making these miraculous shoes. I can only find them in black now and have only seen them available through Amazon and Rockport's website. If I had known that, I would have bought several pairs for future use. Sigh.Rockport/Cobb Hill, please, please bring Petra back. And in a few color choices. Please?

Very cute, they seem to be good quality and were comfortable right out of the box, which is a rarity for me. The only problem is the size. If you get the wider widths, you might go down a size from your typical. I needed these for an event, otherwise I would have returned for a smaller size.

I have wide and almost flat feet. It is so difficulty to find the right shoe that is flexible, light weight, wide enough, supportive, cushioned, and can be work with yoga pants, slacks, jeans, or a dress. Yes, I want it all. I don't want to have to buy/bring 5 pairs of shoes to cover it all. Well, now I have at least found the next best thing in these.I can walk for long distances with them. I can wear them for work, for errands, and for travel. They have just enough arch support for my arches, yet are also flexible (through the soles) and very comfortable. I love that I can wear them with most anything I wear (which is more casual and business casual). I'll wear them with invisible socks and with ankle socks, depending on what's going on.I love these and probably should by 3 or 4 pairs since I have a tendency to wear my shoes every day.At work, I tend to sit and stand, can be flat or on my toes, so I need a flexible and light shoe for that. These work well for that. I used to have to settle for Skechers, which were flexible but had no support (had to add Inserts), not wide enough for the style I liked, and often made my feet smell. While I will still wear them from time to time, the Cobb Hill is my absolute new favorite.

Cobb Hill makes a great shoe. I have a very small, wide foot (5-6E) with a very high instep. If there's anything that goes across the instep, I usually can't close it. I am able to close this strap.I bought a 6W. The shoe is the right length and width. No binding in the toes. I broke it in with a very thin cotton sock on. I wore it all day the first day I wore it with no tender spots. My daughter tried it on too, and although it was a bit wide for her regular width foot, she was amazed at how comfortable it was and ordered a pair for herself.I'd definitely recommend these.

I have an old version of this new cheap version. It was very cheaply made for price. Leather seemed fakr and I couldn't get on my foot. Very disappointed. Don't bother. They don't make shoes like they used to
