Excellent travel shoes
These might be my new favorite travel shoes. I usually don't like a slide-style sandal because I don't feel as steady walking long distances or on a ship that rocks. These shoes looked interesting, so I thought I would give them a try. On first inspection, I noticed the soft foam footbed and the rugged sole. It has a two piece system to adjust to your foot which has a beautiful patterned iridescent fabric with a soft liner. There is a sock type upper with a separate strap that has holes for adjustment with a beautiful buckle that came well protected in my shipment. When I put it to the tightest hole, the shoes were slightly tight on me, otherwise it gives me a lot of room for adjustment, especially with water retention. I wear a size 8.5 M or 9 M in US sizes and ordered the 9 in these sandals and feel like I have plenty of room. These sandals have a small rise to them but they are very comfortable walking long distances. I really like that I can adjust the strap to my foot which helps me walk more steadily than a flip-flop type of shoe. I can't wait to take these on my next cruise. They are lightweight for packing and I think they will wear well. They are definitely a good value for the price!
