Great fit true to size, well-padded cushioned sole, extremely comfortable and light weight.I purchased these in a "Wide" fit just to compare the fit and comfort to a basic width, and yes there is a little more width to the shoe which makes it a great choice for wearing thicker socks. If you are a purchaser who prefers no socks the wide width could make it uncomfortable as your foot may slip and slide a tad.Nice leather trim, standard sneaker CH rubber sole which I find that some shoes do wear longer than other shoes. Consistency in wear seems to be hit and miss depending on pattern of the tread.As for value for the dollar I would still rate it high for the price, design and fit.

First, I love these shoes. They are my first pair of Cole Haan's, and l'm now a fan of the brand.I gave them four stars just because of the laces. They are like little bungee cords, and are very elastic, which means that they don't stay tied very well. I was retying my shoes a few times a day. I finally purchased a new set of regular laces, and now I'm 100% good to go.
